Hotel Astor

Went there for a business Trip, stayed overnight. Really very warm & comfy feeling. Polite staffs. Their hospitality is great. Although expensive but worth it.

I attended a party at Hotel Astor and really enjoyed myself, as the food was good and the ambience was also very nice.

We most of the time taken food from the restaurant of this Hotel. Behaviour of staff is very good. Food quality of this hotel is really good. They never disappoint you for food quality. Most of the time we went for Chinese. Each item we had taken till date found good. Outside car parking is available. One old Uncle will welcome you and assist you to park the car. It's good experience always to visit this place.

Amazing food and very well mannered restaurant staff. They have a variety of starter and main courses. A little choice for dessert and beverage though. A dedicated parking space is also there. You must try Indian or Bengali dishes here

Food service very poor, customer relationship zero, only money making concept adopted by hotel management

I recently had the misfortune of booking a stay at Hotel Astor in Durgapur, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences of my life. Due to a genuine mistake on my part, I had to cancel my reservation. Little did I know that this simple error would lead to an absolute nightmare. First and foremost, the hotel's customer service is abysmal. When I realized my mistake and contacted them to explain the situation, I was met with an unhelpful and condescending attitude. Despite my polite request for a refund, the staff outright refused to accommodate my plea. They were more interested in holding onto my money than providing any semblance of understanding or assistance. The hotel's rigid no-refund policy is not only unreasonable but also reflects a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Mistakes happen, and any decent establishment would have shown some empathy and flexibility. Instead, Hotel Astor chose to prioritize profit over customer care, which is incredibly disheartening and unprofessional. In addition to the refund issue, my interactions with the staff were extremely frustrating. Every attempt to escalate my concern was met with indifference. It was evident that they had no interest in resolving the issue or maintaining a positive relationship with their guests. Hotel Astor needs to understand that customer service is the cornerstone of any hospitality business. It is not just about earning money; it is about building trust and relationships with your guests. The complete lack of compassion and unwillingness to rectify a simple mistake speaks volumes about their priorities. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay at Hotel Astor to think twice. If they are willing to be this unhelpful and inflexible over a minor issue, imagine how they would handle more significant problems. Save yourself the stress and frustration - look elsewhere for accommodation where your patronage will be valued and respected. Avoid Hotel Astor at all costs. They have lost my business forever, and I will be sure to spread the word about their appalling customer service.

One of most unethical hotel to stay and worst restaurant. Behavior of Manager and staff are worst.
