had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every need was met with a smile. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The food was delicious, and the overall ambiance was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable experience! And the staff Tanya was very accommodating with my requests.

Ordered Fish in Garlic Sauce from their in house Orchid Restaurant. Though taste was average but quantity was more than sufficient for 2 people.Only downside is that they are using Basa fish ( Pangasius) in preparation of the dish. If we compare the price, they are charging Rs.500/- excluding taxes for a plate in Swiggy. They should have used Bhetki fish. Basa fish is not good for health.

One downside: Booked a table for an anniversary with a simple rose decoration request. Unfortunately, the decor was very minimal--just a couple of roses and scattered petals might have costed 50-100 yet they charged 1000 plus GST, which felt unreasonably high. Overall, The Orchid offers a fantastic dining experience with great food and a royal atmosphere, but special occasion setups might need better pricing transparency.

Value for money 5 star, as expected in a tier 1/2 city. Good food. Nothing great. Good service. But need to improve in every aspect to be rated as an excellent hotel. Staff members try hard to serve with a smile. That's a positive.

Being an avid traveller and Durgapur being my hometown, often I take the opportunity to visit Fortune. I mainly travel for their hospitality and their warmly touch. The Orchid is their restaurant and it's NEAT. The ambience is perfect for your first date or your 100th, even family gathering or business related meet is perfect for this place. The staffs are very professional and polite. Must visit otherwise you're missing some serious food

Very good hotel for long stays since they have additional menu in their buffet of daily vegetables like home cooked menu of variety bharta, lauki etc. apart from routine menu of hotels. They cook traditional Indian dishes in that which is not only light but also delicious. Service is prompt and good

All of the staffs have been very helpful and always at your service. The food are really good and the room to. Highly recommend if you are staying.
