OYO 23648 The Ritz

The rooms are very dirty. There are footprints on the wall. The bedsheets are dirty and torn at places. The bed itself is very stiff. No windows so it feels very congested. The AC s don't work properly. Keeping the temperature at 16 wont even make the room cold.

All good..rooms are very nice and comfortable at this price but the serious issue is with drinki ng water. They allmos force you to always have mineral water that theye are selling at almost doubled price than MRP..and always get irritated when you ask for regular drinking water to serve to the room. ..Food is decent but has room for improvement coz it is pretty expensive...some staffs are very good ..and 1 or 2 are very moody... And there is a transportation issue as well you have to hire a car or auto everytime you want to go anywhere from hotel..

NEVER STAY IN OYO 23648 (HOTEL RITZ) EVEN IN THE DREAMS due to following reasons based on my recent experience:- NO one was available in RECEPTION ROOM wasn't ready when I reached at Hotel by around 7 pm & in fact, I was advised to wait for 30-45 minutes for the room. Room was found extremely DIRTY & was getting annoying odours in an entire room. OUTSIDE FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED means guests can't buy anything from outside to eat inside the Hotel. FOOD from Zomato, Swiggy, Domino's etc can NOT be consumed inside this HOTEL which means guests (we) are NOT allowed to eat what we like but Hotel Management would strongly FORCE you to buy food from their pathetic Restaurants only. Most importantly, Vegetarian & Non Vegetarian food was being cooked in the same Kitchen, hence naturally JAIN and other Pure Vegetarian will NOT like to buy food from the Hotel itself. NO one picks up call in the Reception & Kitchen means they are highly CARELESS about ROOM SERVICE. I saw more than 20 mosquitoes flying in the room allotted to me & unfortunately they didn't provide any solution for the mosquitoes. If someone wishes to feel like a PRISONER then only dare to book the room in this Hotel. Mostly all are highly arrogant, lethargic, illiterate including Property Owner. LIFT was NOT available to reach at the room allotted to me & due to presence of BAR in Hotel, many decent people won't like to stay with their beloved ones. HOTEL doesn't deserve more than 300 per night looking at the condition as on 11 Feb 2020 and I feel Hotel is made for DRINKING, & EATING only. I deeply regret to rate (-10) out of (+10) for my recent stay in this Hotel including CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE OF OYO. Even after holding phone for more than 40 minutes, NO one from OYO resolved my issue linked with Hotel. I STRONGLY SUGGEST ALL FAMILIES & ESPECIALLY JAIN COMMUNITY TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING HOTEL AS THERE ARE LOT OF OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO STAY IN DURGAPUR CITY NEAR CITY CENTRE.

According to the hotel staff, OYO is not paying them their booking payment. They were not accepting my online booking. There was a chaos regarding payment and booking. They told us that OYO is not working properly in Asansol and Durgapur. Finally they gave us a room. So I am giving them 3 star. Otherwise zero star for OYO service.

Hotel is situated at Banskopa. Very close to Durgapur expressway. It is nearly 10 KM from City centre Durgapur. This hotel is still under construction. Rooms are very good but bit costly. There is a restaurant. Food here are very fresh & tasty & cost is very reasonable. Staffs are also very good.

Bad experience with this rough oyo 23648The Ritz. I only give 1* 1) Rough Stuff. 2) Ac is not working. 3) Hotel told me this is deluxe room but this is not a deluxe room. 4) Unprofessional stuff... Not expected in oyo. 5) Outside food not allowed inside. 6) Non hygienic room. And no lift were provided! 7) No air freshener in the room. 8) Set-top-box not recharged. Only free channel were provided. Why this was happed in oyo? 9) Normal water is not available, Only mineral water available! Why this is happened in oyo? 10) I think GST not available only this hotel in India ! Hoteler want 10% service tax for food! Why this happened? Now in india restaurant only charge 5% GST! At last I request to oyo improve your service for better understanding of your guests!

Worst rooms, very small, no complimentary drinking water, over charged extra money on check in ex full payment of 658 paid via goibibo app then you arrive n before check in you are asked 400 more or else your check in gets denied. (I faced same) Never ever eat noodles from the restaurant. Electricity issue, 8 cutoffs in 10 hrs of stay. Room makes creepy noises on intervals. Among d worst hotels in durgapur

Don't book the property.especilay via OYO. They refused to give with out Adhar and online payment. OYO cancelled the booking and no refunds was made. Full money gone. We have to search another hotel. They refused to obey Supreme court order and demanded Adhar compulsory.
