Sundarban Jungle Mahal Resort

We had a wonderful trip. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful and even arranged Ubers for us. The gravel guide on the boat was very knowledgeable. Surroundings, food and entertaining were great. The cottages were clean, were in a beautiful setting and had all that we needed. Would highly recommend.

We had a nice stay here for 2 nights. It is located in a quiet village called Dayapur away from the crowded islands. It takes around 1.5 hrs by boat to reach from Gadkhali. The room is basic but nice. Hot water is also available. The property blends quite nicely with the surrounding village surrounded by ponds and trees. We took a walk around the village in the mornings. The staff took good care of us and the food was good. There was a folk dance and bonfire arranged on one night.

It was a pleasure staying in the resort at Dayapur and being looked after so well by the staff. Sandeep was so attentive and fulfilled all our requirements with a promptness which is to be commended. Sudarshan Ajay and boat pilot Mandal was also so well behaved n helpful. The housekeeping ladies were also great. The fooding was plentiful and varied and tasty!!!! Though Mr. Tiger eluded us, we enjoyed the boat ride and the sanctuary trips. I wouldn't have minded staying at jungle mahal and relaxing by the pond for some more days!!! PS. I must mention the lovely jhumur performance on the first night by local artists. The singer lady played the harmonium and sang all the songs!!!!

Great hospitality. Being in Bengal they really take care of Vegetarian people as well. Kids friendly environment. Soumen and Ajya take care of anything and everything from start till the end. Thank you so much Soumen and Ajay

I recently had a fantastic stay at Sundarban Jungle Mahal Resort, and I can't recommend it enough! The accommodations were comfortable and perfectly situated to immerse us in the natural beauty of the Sundarbans. The highlight for me was the food--absolutely delicious! Every meal was a delightful experience, featuring fresh, local ingredients that truly captured the essence of the region. The boat trip was another unforgettable aspect of our stay. Gliding through the serene waterways while taking in the stunning scenery was simply magical. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience even better. Overall, Sundarban Jungle Resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Love yourself! Save Nature....

Their hospitality is nice. Food Quality is upto the mark. The Folk dance they arrange in the evening is an exploration for those who visit Sundarbans for the first time.

Nice ambeience.Peaceful stay.Good food|Special mention about Ajoy and Haldar.Sabdeep Jena took good care of us.Folk dance arranged by them was awesome.We were put up by Green Tourism tour operator in this resort.I advice to book directly.

For an island which has no bread also available they take very good care of the guests. Very very nice staff and hospitality.
