YANGDUP METOK HOMESTAY

We stayed over here two months ago. Two families of five. We got such neat and clean rooms at a reasonable price. Such a nice view from the balcony. We felt really staying at home since the hospitality was so great. We made our own food. we had one year old child with us so they made separate food as we requested. The most exciting thing is that we celebrated the first birthday of my child with great arrangement we really heartfelt thanks to them. Limited rooms available if you go with three or four families then it will be your home you don't feel you're staying outside. They do have cab service at a reasonable price. It is quiet since little far from the market area that is what we expected also.

We had a great experience with this homestay.. The view around this place is breathtaking and the important thing was the owners were very cooperating and helpful. Rooms were very hygienic and clean.

So happy to stay here very clean & good place to stay. This place is really good, feel like home. I recommend staying at this place with all my heart. On the spot, the hosts served great food.

This homestay is highly recommended. Uncle & aunty is very good. Location & views are also good. Overall we enjoyed staying here.

We had a great time in this home stay. Very neatly maintained.. Prathima ji was very kind and friendly, we also got an opportunity to eat local Nepali food on our stay. The best part was.. u can view Mt Kanchenjunga from their balcony and also the steam engine train pass by that street, which was very exiting for us to take photographs. The home stay is 2km away from Mall Rd where u can shop tea, woolen stuffs and other gifts to your family. Overall our experience was good and we highly recommend this home stay.

I stayed here from 28/10/2024 to 31/10/2024 with my family and I simply loved the stay here. The hospitality of the owner is fav and I felt like my home here. I got awesome view of Kangchenjunga from the balcony and also enjoyed the view of iconic Darjeeling heritage railway (toy train) movement from the balcony itself. I enjoyed the delicious Darjeeling food and that also homemade (prepared by owner). Also, owner helped us to plan the private Darjeeling sight seen in budget (including off beat places, the natural beauty of those places I never forgot) My kid also enjoyed his stay and food here and the owner also taking care of him very well. I strongly recommend this homestay if you are planning Darjeeling visit and wanted to stay in a budget friendly home like place along with beautiful view from the balcony itself. And yes if you are going to Darjeeling by your own car they have a good parking just in front of the homestay.

This was def our favourite homestay!! The family welcomed us in their traditional way & helped us greatly during the whole trip. The ambience as well as view is amazing & we felt at home. The food was delicious & it was made to our liking. And most importantly the whole property is super clean. All in all it was definitely a 10/10 stay for our group of seven people.
