Udaan Hotels | Dekeling Resort

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Udaan Dekeling in Darjeeling. The room was spacious, filled with natural light, and offered breathtaking views of the hills--truly a peaceful retreat.||What really made our stay memorable was how baby-friendly the hotel was. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, especially with our little one. Special thanks to Ms. Monika and Ms. Gauri, who not only took great care of our baby's needs--including providing complimentary food--but also kept her engaged so we could enjoy our meals in peace. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us.||The warm hospitality, beautiful setting, and family-friendly atmosphere make Udaan Dekeling a place we'd highly recommend to anyone visiting Darjeeling--especially families traveling with young children.

I had a very disappointing experience at Udaan Dekeling Hotel. The room I was given was absolutely suffocating due to the lack of proper ventilation. It felt like being trapped in a box with no circulation or fresh air. To make things worse, the room was infested with flies and mosquitoes, making it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. Cleanliness was shockingly poor--there was dust and dirt everywhere, including the furniture, floor, and bathroom. It was extremely unhygienic and clearly not maintained properly. What frustrated me even more was the complete lack of support from the hotel staff. I reported all these issues, but they showed no willingness to help or resolve anything. Their indifferent attitude only made the stay more unpleasant. I would strongly advise against booking a stay at Udaan Dekeling. It does not meet even the most basic standards of comfort or service.

We stayed in Udaan Dekeling resort during our recent Darjeeling visit. The location is very good near from market and railway station. Property is very well maintained and clean.Rooms are cozy and comfortable with lot of space to move around. Main highlight is food here. We took dinner and breakfast in hotel restaurant and taste is awesome with lots of variety. Overall it was memorable stay. Thank you Riya and team for your service!

I stayed at Udaan Dekeling with my family for two nights. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are compact and well-furnishwd. They also offer a good view. We also found the staff very pleasant and efficient. They were willing to help in all ways. Shreya, Monika and all other team members were quick to respond to our needs. I strongly recommend this place if you are visiting Darjeeling.

We went to the restaurant for lunch. Our experience was really good. Got a heartfelt welcome by the staff Gouri. Food was also really good and the staff behaviour is exceptional. Would recommend the restaurant to all veg lovers. Location wise it's near to Japanese Pagoda and very peaceful hotel.

My stay at dekeling was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The amenities were top-notch. Every detail was carefully thought out to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and outstanding service and most importantly for its view of Kanchenjunga

This is a very nicely placed and located Hotel. Beautifully decorated lobby with flowers . Nice service by the Nepalese origin staffs ! The rooms are not the same since it is a heritage property. Only some rooms have in built heaters , toilet zinc lacks space and there is no wardrobe , at least in my room. If you are a group operator, be cautious with your booking and be aware that charge you for all the rooms, if any small changes in the booking . The reservation team is not helpful. This hotel caters to particular type of travelers and serve only vegetarian food ! Mostly fatty foods

We felt very welcome and had a nice service especially with Ms. Nirjala Priyanka prayash. |The location is really nice and the resort is beautiful. The view is nice. The food is good and the breakfast buffet proposed a wide range of diverse food.
