The Laali Group-Hotel Queen Darjeeling

Pros:||1. Prime location at the heart of Darjeeling with close proximity to ChowkBazaar||||Cons:||1. No parking space||2. No power backup||3. No heated water||4. No water pressure||5. No room amenities and toiletries provided (as opposed to what is advertised)||6. No space for larger groups in the dining area||7. No lifts/elevators||8. Water leakage from roofs||9. Coffee cups and water heater provided but no ingredients||10. Water bottle provided but no water (available for additional fee)||10. Utterly unhygienic ||11. Inhospitable behaviour from staff||12. Unreasonably priced for a 3-star hotel||||Personal experience:||1. Staff asked me to park my car far from the stay in a public parking area where I had to pay extra||2. Staff argued with me when I complained for power cut and lack of hot water, later followed by them asking me to contact the police if I have any concerns ||3. Staff denied my dinner time request and instructed me to come down for meal only when they advise me to

MMT has over charged us by saying it as a Deluxe Rooms, but they have only Standard Rooms PRO 1. Good location CONS 1. Rooms are very very very small 2. No Lift, so we have to climb for 3 floors 3. Location is dirty 4. Dinning section had a dust on many places 5. There is no Deluxe experience in the room 6. While vacating, room will checked for theft items, nothing wrong may be visitors have misbehaved in this hotel. But after paying hefty amount, such a behaviour will annoy. And i am not sure weather this feedback will help Hotel guys or not, as there is no space to make bigger rooms nor there is a scope for Lift addition, may be they can improve the service by keeping items clean.

Nice place for stay here . Everything is good. It is very near to the Bus stand. You can also find easily vehicles for everywhere to visit. Staff behaviour , food quality and cleanliness is very nice. You can choose this place for stay.

The hotel was very bad. The service was also not good at all the breakfast or so so oily and room where too small and and the rooms were so dirty and messy up. We gave the key to clean the room at nine, but we returned the room at two, but still not the room was not clean. The service was also not good though and the workers, the service are also not talking in a good behaviour in the bed. We are so many little small particles on it so we have so it was allergic to those particles so it's a medical issue rooms were so bad. The view from the room were so bad And the reception and the restaurant area and the rooms. We are so dirty and small, like not more than two people can stand at one place. The bathroom was too small. It was a cold place and that gezzar was also not able to turn on or able to warm the water washroom was too dirty and service was so bad about it. We ask many times to give water and towel, but they said no, it's not there so . Tomorrow And room does not have any type of air-conditioning or fan nor window was there to open So we will not prefer to go anybody at that hotel

Worst experience. Rooms are extremely small in sizes. Bathroom orientation is such that you will get injured anytime during bathing. Rooms have tv for show which is not operational. Too congestive place not able to sleep due to excessive noise. Service boy asks for jugs return after providing drinking water. Without providing bottles. Not at all recommended for anyone.

A very good hotel in Darjeeling. It was clean stylish with excellent service in where we had breakfast and dinner. Food was amazing and ofcourse great value for money and the best part is service was attentive and efficient. Staffs behaviour is very professional. Overall we had a great great great experience. Recommended everyone.

Worst Hotel please do not and waste your money. We had booked suite but got a small room with a small size bed. Room condition is too bad, unclean and with flies, I have attached pictures. No lift in this hotel, TV and intercom phone are for show, no connection to it I have attached pictures. They don't recharge the set top box so no connection to TV. Bathroom comode is broken and flush doesn't work so the Manager suggested to fill water in the bucket and pour in the commode how ridiculous is that. Manager and receptionist is extremely rude and misbehaves. Food is extremely bad, no buffet breakfast and the chef can't cook a simple chicken stew for my kid and charges are way more than the standard price. During check in they will take full payment, only cash and account transfer no cards accepted here. When we wanted to check out due to poor pathetic room condition and service they did not give us our money back which is why we had to stay. For 4 nights they charged 16000/- plus 2000 extra for room heater and they took this entire 16000 during check in and in cash. The manager did not accept card payment and misbehaved. P.S - Whoever gives a negative review about this hotel the owner calls that person mad and fraud so please before booking this hotel please contact me for video and pictures as proof. Pros: Receptionist/owners are very welcoming. Cons: It was a worst worst experience for me and my family, I am suggesting you guys never ever visit to this hotel as it will ruin your vacation or trip. One of the staff fought with us and behaved very rudely while we just asked for properly doing the bedding for the third person for which we already paid in goibibo.They also declined extra towel request even after we payed more than 5000 for that dirty room . Washroom was having broken ventilater ,lights were also going continuously, they were not having any power backup. If you guys doesn't believe my words just do your analysis before booking this hotel.And yes hotel is also in a very dirty place ,pile of garbage will welcome you while you will enter into the hotel.
