I had a wonderful experience staying at Shiv Inn Stay in Darjeeling. The highlight of this homestay is undoubtedly the mesmerizing view--waking up to the sight of the mountains and the peaceful surroundings was an absolute treat. The host is incredibly kind and polite, always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made the stay feel warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making it a great option for a budget-friendly stay without compromising on the experience. One thing to keep in mind is that the road leading to the homestay is quite steep, so it may not be suitable for elderly guests or those who have difficulty walking uphill. However, for anyone who doesn't mind a little climb, it's totally worth it for the view and the peaceful vibe. Overall, highly recommended if you're looking for a serene, scenic, and affordable stay in Darjeeling!

I went to Darjeeling in July last year. A month before I went, I booked a homestay called Shibin Homestay from MakeMyTrip. The hotel owner's behavior was so good that after 8 months I am writing a review. Now let's talk about the hotel. The rooms are very clean. I was in a room with a private balcony. My husband and my nine-month-old son were with me. Since my son is small, the first thing that came to mind was his food arrangements and hygiene maintenance. They arranged food for my son twice a day, for which the hotel owner did not charge a single penny. It is their policy that they do not charge for the food of any child. Now let's talk about the natural environment visible from the hotel room. In a word, it is unprecedented. The most difficult thing in Darjeeling is the lack of sufficient water, but this hotel has water available 24 hours a day and even has the facility of hot water from a geyser for 24 hours. Despite everything being good, the only problem is that although the hotel is very close to the mail, the road is very steep, which is very difficult if you take elderly people or very small children. Apart from that, there is no problem with the hotel. If you want to spend a good time and enjoy the beautiful view while staying at the hotel, then definitely book this hotel. Thank you.

So this week i visited darjeeling with my 2 friends and i stay in shiv inn homestay please guys if you ever visit Darjeeling please choose shiv inn homestay.. staff behaviour is so good, room is so affordable, and owner is soo gentle and humble he gave me proper instruction before i took taxi from silliguri to darjeeling which help me alot.. and very polite and manage everything like coolie, taxi soo good.. please my arunachal people who ever plaining to visit please choose shiv inn homestay.. and room facilities is also good.. owner is so helpfull.. you dnt need to worry guys.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Darjeeling and had a somewhat mixed experience. The hotel's location is quite convenient, just an 8-minute walk from Mall Road. However, it's worth noting that the path is quite steep, which can be challenging for older guests. The room itself had some issues with dampness, which was less than ideal. Despite these drawbacks, the owner's exceptional service made a significant difference. He went above and beyond by arranging bike service to help my parents navigate the steep road to Mall Road, which was greatly appreciated. His polite and attentive demeanor truly stood out.

We stayed at Shiv Inn for around five days of our stay in Darjeeling. While the hotel's at a slight decline, the view from our room (Top floor, first room) was absolutely breathtaking. Even rooms and bathroom's are clean, and comfortable. Three options for mood lighting inside the room also ensures that you can comfortably take some rest beneath your blankets when the cold gets intense. We went for a couple's room, and me and my parents could comfortably sleep on the bed. Plus, the owner's family is probably one of the most hospitable people I've met on a trip. Really nice, and extremely friendly. Definitely a recommendation if you want some affordable rooms to relax in Darjeeling.

The room was great. Bathroom were clean. The blankets were cozy. There was running water 24*7 and geyser was available. There was electric kettle provided in the room. Heater is available with extra pay. Room service was nice and the mountain view from the rooms were great. The only thing is the location there is a 300 m up and down hill, so not recommended for elderly people. Else everything was great. The manager behavior was very nice.

Wonderful stay at Shiv inn. I love the location and the room. I booked a room with private balcony, it was the best room. Rent is also cheap. Staffs are well behaved and helpful. Mr.Rajesh ji is the owner and he is so good and made my stay more beautiful, he is like own brother always take care of your priorities. This hotel is best budget hotel in Darjeeling, whoever will go Darjeeling I would suggest you to check on this Hotel..
