Pines N Ferns Homestay

This home stay is very nice. It is situated on the main road leading to Dali monastery, one of the nicest monastery in Darjeeling. The back side of this home stay seemed to me very catchy because it is covered with pine forest. There is a large balcony attached to every room from where you will have a great view of Queen Kanchenjunga. You can spend your leisure time sitting on a couch in balcony with a cup of tea or coffee provided by the owner. She is a nice lady. You will get 24 hrs service from tea to dinner. You will have all basic needs in bathroom. The room is cosy as well. So if you are planning to visit Darjeeling you can stay here without any hesitation. It is worth your money. So guys go for it & enjoy the trip.

Pines N Ferns Homestay in Darjeeling actually a gem, where guests are treated like the family members. Actually I went for a family vacation along with my wife and son. The first day when we arrived at the Home stay the warm welcome by Bhawna really make us comfortable and ease. The food made by the Aunty was really delicious. After having such a tasty food we cancelled our meal plan outside. Bhawna's genuine friendliness, Care make her set aside from the other people. I still remember how she arranged a cab facility for us in such a peak season. She called so many drivers infront of me and assured me don't worry Sir I will try my level best to arrange it for you. The entire family is so nice, friendly and caring that even after coming back to my hometown my wife becomes friend of Bhawna, my son still remembers the time spent with Bhawna's kids. I would recommend everyone, who is planning to go to Darjeeling must go to Pines N Ferns Homestay to get a such a nice, friendly, caring and Amazing Experience. Lovely place to be. Amazing hospitality !! The view from the balcony is amazing !! The food at the homestay is very homely and tasty !! Best hostess one could ask for. We booked 2 rooms for the 4 of us. Since we are not used to the climate, sleeping was difficult, but the hostess provided us with extra blankets and warm water and took absolute care of our well being. She also arranged tourist vehicle for us and suggested tourist places for us to visit. It was an absolute delight to stay at Pines N Ferns Homestay . If I am ever again at Darjeeling, this is the place I will again book for my stay. Good Job !! God Bless !!

Bhawana's homestay, Pines N Ferns, in Darjeeling is a hidden gem where guests are treated like cherished family members. From the moment you arrive, Bhawana's warm and welcoming demeanor instantly puts you at ease. Her father's dedication is evident when he goes out of his way to find a cab for guests, even in the pouring rain. Her mother's culinary skills add an extra layer of delight to the experience, with mouthwatering dishes prepared with love and care. Bhawana's children are friendly and obedient, adding to the homely atmosphere. Bhawana's genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with anything you need make the stay even more enjoyable. It's truly a home away from home, filled with warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

We were the homestay's first foreign guests and they gave us the warmest welcome we've had on our year long trip. The home stay is a little way out of Darjeeling centre near the Dali monastery. The room is clean and comfortable and the view is amazing. But the highlight was the hospitality shown by Sandhya and her mother Kiran who both speak fluent English. It was lovely getting to know them both over breakfast and dinner. Kiran's food is amazing and very reasonably priced - she served us a wide variety of veg dishes that were specific to Darjeeling which you wouldn't find in a restaurant. Portions were very good. Non-veg was also on offer. We will definitely return if we make to Darjeeling again!

I had visited this place with my friend, actually we were on a bike trip, we just saw their board and called the owner, though it was a last moment call but the owner managed to arrange everything so well. Rooms are so cozy and extremely clean, this place is close to all the famous places you would like to visit in Darjeeling. The hosts were very kind and helpful. It's a great place to stay at reasonable rate. There is a very amazing view of Kanchenjunga from the balcony, I would highly recommend this place, and will definitely visit again.

We visited from Sikkim and truly the stay experience in 'Pines and Ferns' was great, The rooms are well-maintained and clean. The quality of the food was fantastic, the location allows you to get easy cabs to town, and the hospitality received in this homestay was an added value to make our journey in Darjeeling more happier... (since the day was clear, especially during morning, the view of Kangchenjunga from the balcony is amazing)... We surely look forward to our next visit to your HS.

Amazing experience of staying at this Homestay. Rooms are well maintained and cleanliness at its good. As name suggests, it is surrounded by trees away from hustle of Darjeeling town yet near to the main attractions. Property owner (Sandhya) is super attentive and cooperative. Aunty ji (Sandhya's mom) is such a great host and full of kindness. She served tasty food in dinner and quite helpful by offering dryer for our wet clothes. Overall it was great decision of opting this homestay which surely gonna give you homely feeling. Kudos!
