Irish Homestay

One of my best stay experiences in Darjeeling. The rooms were extremely clean and very comfortable. The room decor was modern and stylish. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. The hospitality was exceptional, with very polite nature and good people. It felt as though I was at home. The homemade food was amazing, very reasonably priced. It was delicious and I loved it. If anyone is planning to visit Darjeeling, I would definitely recommend Irish Homestay at Batashia Loop.

A perfect stay !!! This property is located at Batasia loop which is one of the must visit place in Darjeeling. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a perfect stay for us. All the rooms are super clean and cozy with a great valley view. The food here will make u feel at home. Mrs Manju and her team are great hosts, Thank you for making us feel as family.

I had the pleasure of staying here for more than a week, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming--they treat you like family from the moment you arrive. Their hospitality is unmatched, and they go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The food was an absolute highlight! Every meal was delicious, home-cooked, and prepared with so much love. It was a perfect blend of authentic flavors and comforting dishes that made each day even better. If you're looking for a place with a personal touch, exceptional hospitality, and amazing food, this is it. Highly recommended!

Staying at a homestay was one of the most enriching travel experiences I've had. I stayed with a warm and welcoming family in a small village nestled in the hills.From the moment I arrived, they treated me like a member of the family. I got to taste delicious home-cooked meals made with fresh, local ingredients--much better than anything I could find in a restaurant.What I appreciated most was the genuine connection.It was not just a place to sleep--it was an opportunity to learn, connect, and feel at home far from home.

It's a great place to stay. The location is very close to batasia loop . This place is very well maintained. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner.Staff was very nice and polite.Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were comfortable and we loved the great view of mountain ranges and pine trees from the room. Very nice experience wish to come back again.

We stayed in Room No 1, which is very cozy and warm, we enjoyed it with beautiful hilly view from room window. Further Anju Madam, owner is very cooperative and soft in her behaviour. Foods are also good if tourist have the outlook to taste nepali flavour..Lastly, driver Nischal and car provided by the homestay is also very good and cooperative. So it's a very good experience for us as a couple.

Absolutely fantastic. We are honoured to have such a beautiful host and the staff were also cooperative. If anyone wants to spend some quality time with their loved ones in the lap of the batasia loop then IRISH HOMESTAY is the only place where you can make your special time more precious.
