Hideout Backpackers Hostel and Cafe

The hostel is run a by very sweet people. The rooms are very tidy and neatly furnished with some warmer dim lights. A view and sunset is alwyas outside the cafe upstairs.

A very nice place, the cafe was amazing and beds were comfortable. Only bad thing was that its pretty difficult to reach (try to ask the locals for SP Bunglow)

I recently had a pleasure of staying here and i must say it was the best experience.. Rooms are well maintained and food is superb... Location is superb you can see Kanchenjunga mountains

Superb mountain view + valley view + city view. Only 5 mins walk from mall road. Cafe upstairs is very aesthetic. Dorms are very neat and clean and have all basic necessities. Just a little small in size for 5 beds. 3 or 4 beds would be perfect.

Good place for stay it's exactly in the city centre, close to bike rental shops and Mall Road, Dom bed room is bit small.

The placement of the hostel is quite bad and good altogether. Bad because it is hard to find and easy because it is really on the way to the chourasta. I was there for 5 nights. It was well enough. Room was clean. But I think they should wash the bedcover once the visitors leave. Even if they stay there for a night only. Toilet was very clean but the position of commode was bad. You will find some good people there and all are joyous. So I recommend you.

How not to like this hostel? Comfortable and clean beds. Hot showers. All the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Nested in a place that is 5mins to the main square whereby there are so many shops and restuarants. I am so impressed with the hospitality and service of their staff. Lastly, just hang out at their cool cafe with excellent music and good food at really good prices. The view from the cafe is fantastic and I spent so much time in the cafe just chilling and reading. Will recommend all to stay here in Darjeeling.

Fantastic - the location is great, 2 minute walk to the mall square and with stunning views of the mountains. Staff are friendly and helpful and our room was brilliant, big and cosy with an extremely comfy bed. Highly recommend if you're staying in Darjeeling and on a budget.
