Hermitage Resort Darjeeling

The service was extremely disappointing: Staff were inattentive and unhelpful throughout the stay. Basic requests like room cleaning, towel replacement, or assistance at the front desk were either delayed or ignored. The check-in process was slow and disorganized, and we were made to wait despite having a confirmed reservation. Housekeeping was inconsistent--our room wasn't cleaned properly and basic amenities were missing. Room service, when available, took over an hour and the food quality was subpar. Management seemed indifferent to complaints and made no effort to resolve issues. For the price we paid, the quality of service was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel and suggest looking for alternatives where guest comfort and service are actually prioritized.

The location is superb, being in close proximity to Raj Bhavan. The breathtaking view from the room added to the overall experience, and the attentive staff further enhanced our stay. Their helpfulness and professionalism were truly commendable, making us feel well cared for throughout our time there. It's rare to find such a perfect combination of great location, stunning views, and exceptional service all in one place. It was a memorable stay thanks to the wonderful staff and the amazing surroundings that made our visit truly unforgettable.

Specious and clean rooms. Spectacular mountain and valley views. Trained staff. Though the food is costly there but they are good in quality. Overall a great hotel in prime location. Also a special mention to the restaurant manager Mr. Anand, a courteous staff of hotel, helped us manage our 3yr old kids food at free of cost. I indeed have spent some quality time with my family there.

Best resort to view kanchenjunga mountain peak clearly without going to Tiger Hill and spend 2000 -3000 bucks Do spend morning time jogging nearby track. You will see locals doing excercise. Also enjoy morning tea (lemon, milk, coffee) offered by gentle lady nearby track.

Our stay was ok. View from Victoria canvas room was breathtaking. They provide room service everyday which was good. Bathroom was clean but droplets coming down from bathroom ceiling. Food cost above average with gst charges. Their water glasses cost rs 150. Be careful if you have a kid and unintentionally it gets broken.

The location of the hotel is ideal, offering easy access to Darjeeling's main attractions while still maintaining a peaceful ambiance away from the hustle and bustle. The well-maintained garden and outdoor seating areas added to the charm, making it a delightful place to unwind. Overall, my experience at Hermitage Hotel was remarkable, and I left with fond memories. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, scenic, and hospitable stay in Darjeeling. Excellent stay I have gone with my family and everybody like the view of mount kanchenjunga. Staff was very nice always smiling and helping the guest

Washroom is not clean enough. 2nd door lock is not exists. No parking facility. Mall Road 1 km away from hotel. Complementary breakfast is very poor specially most of the people are not getting food due to shortage of supply . Worst experience in Hermitage Resort.
