Makaibari Bungalow, Darjeeling, ama Stays & Trails

Stayed with a group of friends. Had a wonderful time. The bungalow is very beautifully done up. The staff is warm. Special mention for Mr Abhijit. He is very attentive to the needs of his guests. He prepared excellent dishes for us and made our stay memorable

One of the best properties of my experience. The vibe of the property is very positive and vibrant. All the staffs are very comfortable and easy going. My father has special heath conditions but as long as the chef Mr Abhijeet is there you no need to worry anything. He arranged special food for dad as per his health habits. Cheers to AMA stay.

A fantastic getaway in the hills. All the amenities of a 5 star hotel along with the personalised service of a guest house. The staff and very warm and welcoming and the chef can rustle up delicious food from any part of the country whenever you wish. The decor, rooms, gardens and views are fantastic too. The staff will arrange a tea garden walk or a riverside picnic for you at a moment's notice. It is an experience you'll want to repeat over and over.

Taj Ama stays and Trails in Makaibari Darjeeling is located opposite the tea factory and away from the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling town. The 5 bedroom house is beautifully maintained and well appointed. The house has 4 regular bedrooms with attached baths and the 5th is a big suite. All bedrooms have balconies that look at the lush mountains. The chef cum manager of the property is very accommodating with regard to menu requests. The food was very good. The service by the rest of the staff was excellent. Definitely worth staying here!

This LUXURIOUS Makaibari Bungalow has 5 rooms with a garden and a balcony. The property is PET FRIENDLY and is 30 km from Tiger Hill. The nearest airport is Bagdogra International, 35 km from the accommodation and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Private parking on site and free WiFi is available. They also have a kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, a flat-screen TV and a seating area. The best part about the place is the location! It's absolutely stunning. Definitely on the expensive side but if you're traveling with family or a big group of friends, you'll love the experience.

Had a GREAT experience.... Abhijit made our stay extremely comfortable....the meals served were delicious and my personal favourite was the continental cuisine served....my guests and I thoroughly enjoyed..... thanks Abhijit!
