The Local Tribe - Homestay, Cafe, and Hostel Sonada Kurseong

We really enjoyed our stay, even though it was raining the whole time. Shushant and the staff are so nice and caring. And we loved Didis food a lotthe view is also beautiful from there. We would like to come again!

If I say "The Local Tribe - Homestay" Sonada, Darjeeling is one of the best homestay in all aspects, I think everyone who had visited the place will not disagree with me. Me with my wife and son stayed here for 3 days and 2 night from 7th to 9 June 2024 . The hospitality of every one, the delicious food and obviously the room .. just excellent. Mainly what we enjoyed the most, is the environment of the homestay. Every one is really so polite and service oriented. Room and food is great. View from room is excellent. All arrangements of Sushant ji (owner) is really appreciable. I like to go again here and suggest everyone to visit the place. Nice memory and all five star from my side.

Sip come Darjeeling tea and rest a bit before you head to the queen of the hills and if you are exhausted the host has them Rooms To get you relaxed as well and the location is perfect just opposite to the entrance of Salesian college cheers .Thankyou for the warm Hospitality!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Good homestay with awesome staff Best homestay in offbeat kurseong and darjeeling

Basically we stayed 2 days in the tea tribe, a cottage homestay in moonda kotee owned by the same owner, Sushant and 2 days in the local tribe. The hospitality we received in both the homestays is remarkable. Tea tribe is located amidst the tea gardens and nothing can be more relaxing than it.local tribe on the other hand provided the best mountain view. In local tribe they served us with whatever food we wanted to eat and the taste was top notch. We had ramen,fried momos and authentic local food in local tribe. The food in tea tribe was also too good...all in one we enjoyed a lot..And most importantly Sushant and his family is very kind and polite and they made us feel like we are at home..
