Bliss Deolo Homestay

Completed a very short trip and carried a nice experience added on some sweet memories with great hospitality and loveable staff behaviour specially Manager from one of the nearest Budget friendly Home stay ( Bliss Deolo Homestay) of Deolo Park and Deolo Paragliding Association. ( Kalimpong, West Bengal))

We didn't stay at the place; instead, we stopped there for lunch. Prior to visiting the Kalimpong Science Centre, we went to this establishment to place an order for our group of 17 people. After exploring the science centre, we returned to have our lunch there. The staff members went the extra mile to ensure that our needs were met. Their commitment to cleanliness, prompt service, and delicious food quality added a personal touch to my overall experience. The building itself was beautifully adorned with trees, enhancing the ambiance. Since fish was unavailable for such a large group, we opted for Chicken Thalis instead.

If you are planning a trip to Delo and are looking for a homestay, you might want to read about my experience at Bliss Homestay. My friends and I stumbled upon this place without a booking and decided to stay for a few days. The location was great, and the representative of the homestay offered us a deal of Rs.1000 per person for accommodation and food. We enjoyed our stay and even hired a car through them to visit Kalimpong. However, things took a turn for the worse when we were checking out. The owner, Prasanna, suddenly demanded an extra charge of Rs.500 per person for per day. This was unexpected and unprofessional as we had already paid as per the previous discussion. She even started shouting and threatened not to let us check out unless we paid the extra money. We felt harassed and intimidated by her behavior. In the end, we had to pay the extra amount just to avoid further trouble. This experience left a bad taste in our mouths, and we want to caution any future travelers to think twice before booking a stay at Bliss Homestay. We later learned that Prasanna owns 22 homestays in the area, and her behavior was unacceptable. We hope sharing our story will prevent others from being taken advantage of.

This homestay is great and the service provided by them to us is very homely... Food was very good and the rooms of this homestay gives a homely comfort. Best homestay to check in if you are in kalimpong delo road for sure

Most 3rd class quality of food, rooms are small and staff behaviour is very very rude. At the time of check- in they told some amount but at the time of check- out they demand more amounts and you have to pay the extra amount without any reason and any bill.

Very nice location clean homestay with hygienic and tasty food in wholesome portion. Very good hospitality. Really loved the place with very friendly people all round. I even played with the owner's dogs. It was like a second home.Ms.Rai will always greet you with a smile.

Rooms are very well maintained and position is also very good. The staffs are very nice and we'll behaved. I just love this place and would recommend this place with a big smile. Please do come here and enjoy your holidays.
