Very poor nasty rooms

Decent hotel with decent restaurant. Please remember you are not travelling to a capital city. But room is comfortable. Close to bus stand. The location is not very far from the Cooch Behar Rajbari. We had however gone for the Itihas Samsad Conference, and the Panchanan Barma University is some distance away.

Nothing was available as advertised. Poor welcome. Poor quality of rooms.poor service. Overcharged for taxi to the railstation. We checked in late night around 10pm. The owner was screaming on top of his voice at the staff becoz he wanted chilli wafers with his drink. He was sitting with bunch of friends and they were drinking alcohol. I was really scared to see the situation. Since it was late and we were tired , didn't want to search another place with luggage. This place is good only for only bachelors not for families

Location is the key factor if it is about tour where this hotel scored 5 star. Location(opp.of public & state bus terminus),Good & specious rooms along with modern amenities make this hotel perfect for tourists. My expectation from them is the blend of hospitality and professionalism along with the above.

Hopeless hotel of North Bengal. Don't stay here. all are just for pretend. Even they still using old and dirty cloths. after using this skin infection is bound and everytime we have to call for hot water.. just dikhawa sob

Rooms are not clean. Stuffs are good and well behaved. One thing I don't like that guests are allowed to use geyser between 7AM to 10 PM . Overall ok wala sarvice.

Update on July - 2022 Now the hotel isn't well maintained, rooms wall are damaged and water enters inside room in rainy days. One of the good hotel in Coochbehar. Friendly staff, reasonable price. I often have to stay at hotel because of my works, I tried hotel Yubraj, Hotel Drbdutta as well. Hotel yubraj restaurant is nice but not the hotel. Debdutta's staff are rude. Hotel Galaxy is far better than those. Friendly and helpful staffs.

I will highly recommend this place to everyone. We ordered 4 veg thalis and 3 chicken curry.The meal was served hot and consisted of rice, dal, mochar torkari,vegetables and the chicken consisted of three decent sized pieces.We were dissatisfied with one plate and they replaced the whole plate. Everything tasted really good.
