Hotel Bengal

Hotel Bengal is located in front of Cooch Behar Palace. The people at the reception are well behaved. Good to stay at low cost. Communication system is very good. Like it. There are AC and non AC rooms.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The room and sheets were clean, bathrooms freshly redone, tv - wall mounted lcd and all for rent less than 400 (single bed). The staff was friendly and also professional. I gave them my clothes for laundry (which they send out) and got it back next evening clean and crisply ironed at a price I could not have got back home. The hotel is also just 100ft away from the cooch behar palace (rajbari) which the main attraction. ||One irritant is that it has long corridors which amplify all sounds, but, the staff were quite quiet after 10 p.m. so my sleep was unaffected. All in all very pleasant stay.

The scenic view around the hotel and its prime location made me feel quite comfortable. Also the room was quite clean and well-arranged with ultra-modern amenities, cosy bed and quite good service by the staff. But the overnight rate was quite high.

Worst service in Coochbehar. We had booked few rooms for a marriage ceremony and the hotel staff had behaved in the worst possible manner. The service staff of the hotel are extremely rude and passed lewd comments at our guests. It was a horrible experience for our guests and our prestige was totally ruined in front of our guests. They did not even have the minimum decency to apologise after such behavior. If it had been possible to give negative ratings, I would have given that. I highly discourage anyone to book rooms in this hotel especially if you are doing it for your guests.

Well managed budget hotel in Coochbehr. Rooms, foods both are very good. Value of price. Just opposite of Coochbehar Rajpalace. Foreign liquor off shop & rooftop bur cum Resturant just beside this property. Near to Bus stand, Park, Main market,Stadium & administrative offices also

Guys don't stay here this hotel services not well drunkd people distrubing both time

Good spacious rooms.. staff are very helpful.. good for a nights stay.. French fries are awesome.. quantity of food somewhat less but tasty
