Cooch Behar Hotel

It was ok ok. Felt little overpriced because the amount we paid would have fetched us a fancy meal. Go for mutton only because chicken was basic. Liked the concept of separating add ons but the quality was not up to the mark. Next I'll try mutton on a Sunday.

Very old famous hotel, thali system is not available, items are served plate wise, taste of food good, Bengali type, price little high as per place.

Most 3rd class hotel for eating. They charged higher for any food items comparatively other hotel . Food is very much oily and tasteless. For each and every item they charged separately. For simple rice , daal , vegetables they charged around Rs. 200/- . They take only cash , no online payment is allowed .

Opinion is my personal, had lunch at Cooch Behar hotel, didn't like one bit. Extra oil is used in everything, the vegetables are sweet. The fish broth is also sweet. The price is quite high. Not satisfied. If rating then 3 out of 10.

3rd class food quality.. ordered for mutton. But they provided kind of half boiled mutton. Not able to eat. Finally eaten with yellow dal. Shared feedback with cashier but they not even ready to accept. They charged full price. Even not shown any apologies or sympathy.... Its happened with me and another 2 guy also....

Recent went there for dining, ordered fried rice, normal rice, and chicken. Fried rice was almost tasteless, chicken was poorly cooked, and the normal rice was also not worthy. Highly disappointed because I have dined there in the past, and I can honestly say that their services have declined. They must improve their services in order to receive more customers. One of the biggest drawbacks of this hotel is that even to this day, it has no facilities for online payment. Hence, I don't recommend going to this place cashless. Otherwise, you might end up in disaster.

I just crossing the hotel and many persons of my surroundings tell about food of the said hotel. Then I also tried & the grade of food is maintained as homely condition. And more over all the foods are Bengali dishes.

Very very bad experience in the hotel. The food is worse than h3ll. Fried rice is sweet, tarkari is very bad. And the bad part is they don't accept phonepay or any online payment. They don't even give bill after payment. They does all things from beginning. Very bad.
