The quality of the food is good, but the behaviour of the staff in the hotel needs to be more professionally monitored. If you have a good service it doesn't mean you can be obnoxious. They need to be humble while serving their customers.

The room is quite good & spacious & clean at all. Perfect for 2 people, different categories of rooms are available. The price is also quite in range. The service is also good . The check in experience is also good. Food is so tasty & customisable & location is easily accessible from chuchura station & ferry ghat & Hooghly station also. Ac & every type of service are available here.

Fix your staffs attitude first before placing them on reception desk. An illiterate person can provide better service than your staffs do. Just because coustomer ask a question little bit loudly, they can't yeal at coustomer saying " take your money and go, this is not your property", this is so disrespectful and imberessing for a coustomer. A receptionist should be calmed, polite and full of manners. Moreover, when others are sharing their bad experience, you apologise to them but I can't find any apologise word of expression in your reply. This proves that, not every coustomer is valuable to you. No wonder why your staffs are rude and manners less. This defines what the hotel "Mahal" is. Your staffs bad behaviour stuck in my mind forever.

Avoid this property. On a mission to follow up some family history leads at a nearby cemetery for an English friend, this is the hotel that I selected as my first choice. However, after unfailingly check-in procedures over the past three and a half weeks in Odisha and West Bengal, the reception began as very reserved and, once a few colleagues of the receptionist had shown up, seemed to become a game of deliberately overcharging the foreigner. Particularly from one of the team, I received particularly inappropriate comments. Once I made moves to leave, various staff started calling out lower prices. However, the atmosphere was such that I didn't feel comfortable at all: they could have given me the room for free and I still would have looked elsewhere.

Excellent quality of food. Service very good. Ambiance superb.

So basically I ordered Kashmiri aloo dum and tandoori roti from Hotel Mahal from swiggy but they gave us navratan korma with a note written that kashmiri aloo dum was out of stock , what kind of foolishness is this ... Such a bad and irresponsible restuarant like they never made the effort to contact us or cancell the order they straight up gave anything they had .. so we contacted swiggy but they didn't give us any agent to talk so and closed the chat So we contacted restaurant and they were very rude .. i mean that manager was very rude ... He said I gave you expensive item like what !? Firstly you give anything and then say that it's expensive than what I ordered ... We literally hate navratan korma we never eat it specifically my daughter hates it ... My money got waste... Anyone planning to stay or eat here simply backoff ... Very rude manager and foolish behaviour

Food and service is very good, and also the behavior of the staffs are remarkably good.

The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu features a variety of well-prepared dishes, each bursting with flavor. I especially enjoyed the chilli chicken, chilli potato,which was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The service was prompt and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it's a great place for a casual meal or a special occasion.
