Amazing place!! Really... It's hard to find people who are so good in hospitality. I had to stay for three days for my exam. I was looking for a place that would be spacious quiet and clean. Expectations were broken. Right from the way the linens smell in the room to the food which was provided was on point.

A great place to stay! The breakfast was excellent. The location is well-connected, making it convenient to get around. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in Smriti Homestay for about 15 days and it was really wonderful experience. The owner provided us with the best services. He is really kind and friendly. The food was home cooked and it was really good. Anyone searching for places to stay in nearby locality, do give it a try and you won't regret it. Great place and budget friendly.

I have stayed at Smriti Homestays a few times. The rooms are really clean and comfortable, and I've never had any problems with the facilities. The beds are very easy to sleep in. This homestay is a good option if you are interested in visiting religious and spiritual places. It has good access to Dakshineswar, Belur Math, Titagarh Annapurna, Srirampur etc. It is also close to a major railway station with lines connecting to other parts of the state. The surrounding area is very safe in my experience; as an international tourist, I have never been scammed or overpriced by anyone in any shop or public transport, even for a few Rupees. The home-cooked food is amazing. You can get rice or roti with veg, fish and even more regional foods like mocha (Bengali banana flowers) and kadhi (a curd-based Gujarati dish). They have also been really helpful in catering for my dietary requirements. Lastly, in general, the family has helped me a lot in planning my travels, organising transport and keeping me safe. Last time, I was very unwell (I had caught pneumonia in another part of India) and the family took me to the hospital and ensured that I was looked after. They even visited me regularly to check how I was doing. The owners of Smriti Homestays have helped me a lot and I don't think I can really summarise it all in a single review. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the area North of Kolkata.

Smriti Homestay is in a very good location. Well connected to nearest airport which is just 30 Minutes drive. Also in a unique location / locality where we can get both Old Bengal feel and modern day charm. The Food is just amazing , Homestay term best suits for this place as the Owner ( Papai Da) welcomes you and treats you just like a family guest. Highly recommended !!!
