The complex is big and beautiful but not properly maintained. Only AC rooms are good, the non-Ac rooms require serious renovation. Food is quantity wise good but taste wise could be better. Extra star for the staffs who were very cordial and helpful. A little effort and better maintenance can make this resort a hit.

The ac rooms are very small, just enough space to walk after a double bed is placed. The rooms are located in old government quarters. They also have water damage. AC is not well maintained, frequently it refused to start and we had to call the staff. The staff are very good and accommodating. Food is mediocre and enough to sustain you, nothing special. They serve food in very thin paper plates and paper bowls. The ground are very beautiful but not maintained, weeds and dry leaves everywhere. Lots of birds like egret, whistler ducks, storks, woodpecker, kingfisher, etc. Good to enjoy nature but not very comfortable to stay.

This property is huge and consists of large number of water bodies (dighis). The resort is owned by West Bengal fisheries and can be booked online from the website.|The rooms are basic with western toilets and six of them are provided with AC. There are 2 AC rooms in the midst of a pond and staying over there is indeed a delight.||The location is close to Abhirampur (2 Km) and is about 4 KM from the Jungle Mahal region of East Bardhaman. While visiting this scenic forest region where Valki Machan is located, it will be nice if one can stay in this lonely resort (guest house). The drive from this place to Ilambazar via the forest is something to remember. ||Staffs are very well behaved but food is basic. AC functions properly and they have power back up for fans and lights. There is a garden area and huge place to walk around. If you are okay with AC and basic facilities @ Rs 1200, this will be a very good weekend destination for you.||The best route to avoid bad road condition is to take the Durgapur highway up to Budbud and then turn left, move towards Mankar and finally reach the destination, just 2 Km short of Abhirampur crossing.||This is perhaps the best option to stay while visiting Machan

Four of us, friends, visited this resort on 17 Dec 2020. It was a very frustrating experience for all of us. The entire resort was very unkempt and the sign of neglect was visible all over. The guest houses were all looking dull and untidy. The kitchen and the dining hall were most uninviting. The entire complex needs urgent make over. We didn't feel like taking food in that place. In any case, one has to book a meal one day in advance, if one is not a boarder , but has just come for a day trip. Over all, this place is not at all worth visiting even for a day.

Excellent place surrounded with big lakes. Open and fresh air. Bhslkimachan Forest is only 4-5 km away. Overall a very good place to spend few days. Rural Bengal beauty you can get there. But rooms r poorly maintained. Food is excellent.

Jamunadighi Eco Resort is located at Jamunadighi near Gushkara in Bardhaman district of West Bengal. This resort is being maintained by a nodal agency under Govt. of W.Bengal . There are many well maintained rooms including AC Double bed, Non AC Double bed , Non AC Dormitory and AC Dormitory. A multi cuisine restaurant is there to serve yummy foods. 4 big water-bodies are there with huge selection of fishes . There is a floatel to enjoy some lonely moments above fish pond. A large mango yard is there. ||||Nearest tourist attractions : 1) Valkimachan 2) 108 Shiva temple 3) Santiniketan ||||During my stay, I enjoyed fresh air and fresh fruits . Staffs are hospitable. They helped me to catch fishes and cook. Then, they served them in typical Bengali style.

We from the "Four Wheel Tourers" club went there on yesterday with our wives & kids (though I have neither). Meal is fresh but notably overpriced. Veg meal 80/-. Egg meal 90/-. Kaatla meal 130/-. Pomfret meal 220/-. Hilsha meal 230/-. Taste was okay but not outstanding. One must have to book a room per two/three persons. If you are 5 nos male & ask them for one room, they will deny you & would ask you to book two rooms. Cost 600/- to 800/- per room (non ac). It is Govt. Of West Bengal's fisheries plant. Has few ponds for fishery. I didn't find anything to see around. If you are less than a group of 9/10 people, the eco park is a real bore. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
