Prarambha - The Stone House

We stayed in Prarambha over a long weekend, and it was a very relaxing, cozy stay at this beautiful villa. The villa is very thoughtfully built. We had 3 large, airy, super clean bedrooms (each fitted with AC) for us to use. Each bedroom had attached washroom (one with a bathtub). The kitchen was a furnished one with a microwave, refrigerator. We spent a lot of good time in the beautiful lawn and large balconies and played badminton in the evening! We also met the extremely cordial owner Mr. Dutta who was there during our stay for a day, and it was great to hear from him some stories of the house. Though we had full access to kitchen, we opted for food options in Prarambha. We tried quite a few items from the menu and all of the cooked dishes were delicious. A huge shoutout to Santosh and his crew who helped us to make this vacation super comfortable. I really loved staying in this quiet, safe and beautifully constructed villa and I will definitely stay at Prarambha again!

We had a lovely, serene experience staying at the Stonehouse! We had booked the bungalow and appreciated every bit of our stay. It's like living amidst the greenery with the modern amenities. Full marks for the furnished kitchen with microwave and refrigerator and the well maintained washrooms(one with a bathtub for relaxation). We particularly loved the thoughtful efforts of the owner into considering the minute details where comfort and grand experience come hand in hand. Good food, excellent service. Looking forward to visit sooner.

This place is situated on the way to Prantik station just after crossing the Shyambati more. We visited this place during Holi 2025. If you want to stay away from the daily hustle then it is definitely your destination. The rooms are neat and clean, the service is very good, thanks to Mr. Santosh who really impressed us with his all time availability and also with his behavior. The property is very well maintained. The food is very delicious and the price is also reasonable.

We stayed in this property on 3rd Jan, 2025. A beautiful property in the midst of Nature. Extremely well maintained with high quality furniture and furnishings. The caretaker Mr. Santosh took great care in making our stay memorable and enjoyable. The owner Mr. Rajib is an amicable gentleman who personally took interest in our comfort and the overall service provided by him and his team was exemplary. Highly recommend this property to those who want a few days of seclusion and tranquility.

We hosted a 10 members family gathering at this place in Jan 2025 and everyone simply loved the place. Good location, every corner was very clean, rooms are specious and well decorated, Both bedrooms on the first floor have balcony view overlooking the garden, big hall and sitting arrangement to accommodate small gatherings, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of sit out space, barbeque/firepit, swings and garden. Food was SUPERB. And must mention, the excellent hospitality provided by Supervisor Santosh.

It is a beautiful villa located near Shyambati. Rooms, bathrooms, balconies and leaving area are pretty big. Villa is surrounded by nice garden. Caretaker(Santosh) is really a nice person and cooking staffs are also very good. They prepared delicious homely food for us. We did barbecue in the evening and also played badminton. Overall experience was really nice!! This is my 2nd visit and I will come here one more time.

We had an absolutely splendid stay at the Stone House in Bolpur from 28th to 30th December. Special mention to the caretaker, Santosh, who was an absolute gem throughout our stay. He was always available, ensuring we were comfortable and our needs were met. His warmth and dedication truly made our experience exceptional. The property owner Mr Rajib was equally fantastic, ensuring that the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, making us feel welcomed right from the start. One of the highlights of the property is its small organic farm, where a variety of vegetables are grown. It added a homely and fresh touch to our meals, and it's lovely to see such sustainable efforts being made. The experience of being surrounded by fresh produce was truly unique. The property also features a well-maintained barbecue area and a fireplace. Spending evenings by the fire while grilling delicious food added to the charm and made for unforgettable memories. The house itself is spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing vacation. From the furnished kitchen to the airy balconies and clean, modern bathrooms, every detail has been thoughtfully curated. We particularly enjoyed spending evenings under the fairy-lit gazebo, soaking in the peaceful ambience. I highly recommend the Stone House for anyone looking for a luxurious yet peaceful getaway. We can't wait to visit again!

I recently stayed at a wonderful homestay near Bolpur town with my family and friends, and it was an amazing experience. The nice view from the balcony provided a peaceful backdrop to my mornings, and the cozy room with AC ensured a comfortable stay throughout. The homestay also had a bathtub in the bathroom, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was the fully-equipped kitchen facility. However, I couldn't resist indulging in the delicious home-cooked meals which made the experience feel even more personal. The location was ideal, being close to Bolpur town, making it easy to explore local attractions while still enjoying the tranquility of the homestay. Overall, it was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience.
