Lodge Lipika

As you can see the inner lock of bathroom was broken, light was missing and so much dirt. The service was not good either. They couldn't fix the light and the lock during our 3 day visit. Not worth it

This lodge should be the last option for someone visiting bolpur. The only advantage is that it is near to railway station platform no. 2. The rooms are small and blankets are dirty. Fortunately we carried our own so didn't have to worry. It's difficult to get hot water, one have to call the room service every time you need to take a bath as they have one geyser which supplies water to several rooms.

Recently stayed in this lodge for one night, just opposite to Bolpur station. Room & washroom were clean. Will definitely visit again as it is a value for money.

Never stay at this hotel.... Very bad experience... Room service is poor and lazy. Bathrooms were totally dirty and bad smell along with lots of insects.....behavior is not satisfactory. I am regretting staying in this hotel. If you don't want to get your money wasted please find some better hotels otherwise this would make your trip a bad one.

I've been coming to this lodge since 2018, so it holds a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The staff's behavior has been quite arrogant, and they seem unaware of basic hospitality standards. Additionally, the rooms and bathrooms are consistently unclean, and the food and water quality are subpar. This has been a recurring issue throughout my seven years of visiting.

Overall the lodge is fine. Very near to Bolpur Santiniketan Rail Station. But for various problems like food, transportation, locality tourists avoid this place. Tourists finding no other option come here. The manager of the Lodge is very good, prompt and polite. I stayed there for two days. The lodge is clean, calm & quite. Tourists who like these may stay here.

**Super worst experience** Please avoid this hotel at any cost!! 1) When I checked in with my family, observed that the room is not properly cleaned. For example - found 'biri butt', dirt in the room corner, so not safe at all if you travel with your child. 2) Worst service : they won't come to clean your room on any day, unless you ask them. After asking them, one person would come & would complain to you why you dropped water on the floor, how will I clean it now etc. The person won't understand that there is a child in the room. 3) They won't clean your bed, washroom on a daily basis, it's only one day when you checked in. 4) The toilet was worst, could find human waste during checking in. 5) The pillow had human sperm type smell, had lots of dirts inside. 6) During check-out, they won't allow you to exit, unless they check the room by visiting personally to check if things are ok in the room. 7) During check-out, if you leave a little late, they would come & knock you to know when you are going to leave. 8) They would close the hotel by 9 PM, they won't care to call you to know if you are still outside. On our first day, we were shocked after coming back to hotel, as we saw entire hotel is closed. We had to find out ways to call them, as we didn't carry mobile. 9) The hotel manager & the hotel stuff both of them are very rude folks, the behavior is worst, trust me, you will feel like why have you even visited Shantiniketan. 10) Today Shantiniketan is not a place of Shanti anymore because of such hotel folks. 11) I whole heartedly wish that the Lodge Lipika gets closed due to such inhuman services, if not, then change the hotel manager/stuff. I would kindly request to the hotel owner to immediately fire both the hotel manager & hotel stuff.

We stayed here in 2017. The hotel is at the vicinity of the Platform No. 2 of Bolpur-Shantiniketan Railway Station. Rooms were clean & spacious. Staffs were really very helpful & were always at the guests service. One can easily have a stay here safely.
