Khola Hawa Guest House

The experience of staying "Khola Hawa" home stay was excellent. The homemade food and cleanliness are truly praiseworthy. This place, located just 5-7 minutes away from Prantik Station, has really impressed me.

We enjoyed the stay more than we expected..... Food was delicious. Each meal was simple and tasted as if home cooked. We had no complaints of indigestion or uneasiness. Next word of appreciation for the caretaker family, namely, Sanjith da and his wife.... They worked tirelessly to attend to all that we asked for.. Prompt service and smiling attention throughout our stay... Rooms were spick and span free of any foul odour. Huge verandah and manicured lawns, blooming flowers in a sun kissed garden were the cherry on the top. Just a small suggestion.... Please arrange a dining hall within the premises .... It would add more USP Thank you for everything..

I went in April with two of my fur babies. And I was impressed. My babies were so comfortable. The caretaker duo and the kids became their friends. Though it was scorching hot outside inside the bungalows it was quite cosy and comfortable. Hoping to stay there soon. The stay, the food, the location loved it.

Nice and quiet place to stay in Shantiniketan. It is situated at Prantik. It is pet friendly. This property has a beautiful garden. This is a apartment style property. Each floor has two bedrooms and a common dinning place. Total number of rooms are 8 in two buildings. It is atleast 3 km away from Sonajhuri haat. Vehicles are not easily available you have to prebook to go to the market or for sightseeing. Food and hospitality is awesome. Particularly to mention about Runu di. Thanks for the cordial behaviour and hospitality.

It was an amazing experience visiting the propery. The Property Managar "Drisha" was very polite. Location is just 5 mins from Prantik station and she arranged a Toto for us, The local Toto walla's try to rip you off so be careful. Try the recommendation from the property manager as she arranged everything at fair amount. Really happy with the experience.

I booked a hotel in Shantiniketan but the Hotel denied check-in because rooms were full. I had no hope left because I called almost 15 hotels and they all replied the same "rooms are full". Scrolling on Google maps looking for hotels my eyes stuck on a name "Khola Hawa Home Stay". I was quite impressed with the name itself to be honest and thought of giving a call. I again had no hopes but I will call it luck that owner of the property said yes there are rooms available. And to be very honest I had the BEST stay of my life here with ZERO complaints. Drisha owner of the property is very very cooperative and kind. She not just gave us a room but gave us options of 3 rooms. It's a very new property but the SERVICE is EXTREMELY FAST. You can enjoy the morning fresh air from the balcony or choose to take an evening walk in the lawn. Property is far from the busy streets of Bolpur so you without a doubt will enjoy the serenity. I was having a negative impression of Shantiniketan after the incident happened with me in the morning but this placed totally changed my impression. Truly this property defines "Shantir" + "Niketan". And now the most important part of every stay. 'Food' it was delicious, homely and they have the best chef. After the hustle and bustle when I check-in around 3:00 PM I ordered Coffee they served it in 5 minutes. And then I ordered Lunch 'Veg Thali'. It was so delicious I felt like I am at home. Caretaker and her wife took a great care of us and their behaviour will make you feel very comfortable and you will be pleased. It's probably the longest review I wrote because it totally worth it. I will leave an end note here: 'If you want to enjoy serenity, good food and great rooms this is the place you should go for' 10/10 in everything. -Abhik
