Excellent Homestay. Very caring, well behaved host. They offer home made excellent bengali food whenever requested. Five well organized rooms including all regular amenities like Clean towel, Dove shop, shampoo, tea coffee with biscuits. The rooms and Washrooms are sparkling clean. They have three rooms in 1st floor of main building and two rooms in an annex building . A well managed beautiful garden, looks more elegant in night when it lit up with many garden lamps. There is a nice sitting area in the garden too. One negative side for few guest is that they deliberately kept no TV in any room, so that you can spent time with nature and with host. The Elim is considered to be one of the top three homestays in Shantiniketan according to the public review. They also arrange electric rikshaw for local tours. Avoid one riksha driver named Debraj. He talks nice but charges too much unnecessarily .

The warm hospitality and serene surrounding of Elim exhilarated us. The lively atmosphere, vibrant decor and cheerful hosts, made us feel right at home. The impressive architecture and immaculate interior truly created an unforgettable experience. Situated in a heart of nature, this place offered us majestic views of lush greeneries.

Elim homestay is situated amongst nature and greenery. It is a perfect place to stay if you want to get away from the city bustle and rejuvenate. The warm hospitality of the owners made us feel at home from the moment we stepped in. We were welcomed with glasses of delicious orange juice and served hot breakfast. The home is tastefully done up and the garden is very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful experience.

It was a great experience staying at Elim. We would love to again to revisit this home. Yes, it has absolutely been a homely experience staying here. The owners were fantastic people and indeed the surrounding is quite nice. It is a beautiful place. And ofcourse the food, it was awesome . I am delighted with all hospitality, care and love.

Had an absolutely amazing stay in the first week of December. Had come for some academic work to Santiniketan and was absolutely blessed to have stayed at such a comfortable and homely place. Uncle, Aunty and Sayantan Da all took very good care of us and made us feel home. Very grateful for the amazing food prepared and for taking so much personal interest. If we plan on going to Santiniketan, Elim is at the top of our list always. Thank you.

A home away from home indeed. Great hosts, delicious food and beautiful house. Barring a few points but these were overshadowed by the very warm and welcoming behaviour of the hosts who are avid travellers and instantly struck a chord with us as a group. Would definitely recommend the place.

I stayed for two nights in the last week of September 2024 at Elim. My stay here was absolutely delightful! The serene natural surroundings created a peaceful atmosphere that I loved. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend it to stay again and again.
