Chaiti (caiti) Eco Homestay Santiniketan (W.B Govt. Registered Gold Category)

This was my 4th time in Bolpur but it was the BEST staycation for me. Booked the first floor room with balcony views of the main road, the experience was just unbelievably beautiful. The rooms were really spacious and clean. Toton Da & Raghav Da were always available for us in every need. And the welcoming warmth that we received from our host Kamal Chakraborty literally made our trip one of the unforgettable for the rest of our life. The food was too delicious and healthy (pro tip: don't miss out on the chance to taste the Mutton Thali & Fish Thali here). And lastly a special mention for Srinivas Da, who seamlessly guided us throughout the whole tour in his toto. In short, if you are really in search of "Shanti" (peace) in Shantiniketan, then this homestay is definitely a must-visit for you

1. Room has very very limited amenities, only AC , Geyser , 3 occupency bed and steel water jag. 2. Very limited access of Geyser- on request they turn it on even in Winter session. 3. Must appreciate behaviour of 2 staff . 4. Food - breakfast outsourced , lunch dinner available, homely , on request. Food is good. 4. Dripping water in bathroom faucet, tap. 5. Room rent is high as per facilities and amenities. 6. Bed cover , towel, Pillow cover , window curtain , ceiling light to consider be clean on regular interval and repair. 7. Mosquito but repellant available 8. Room pattern is such that destroyed privacy of Room. Even next Room guest can listen every word of other Room.

We had an awesome stay at this place. The people here are very helpful and sincere. The best part of this place is the owner Mr. Kamal Chakraborty he is a nice and warm person. The food is homely and tasty. I will surely recommend this place.

In Shantiniketan it's a excellent homestay with a homely surroundings, a perfect stay location for weekend trips, far away from the busy hustling of cities, as one will not get any sounds and horns from vehicles and roads in this location will give you a cool and calm experience. I went with my wife it's a perfect fit for family stays. One of the most additional benefit is the location as it is near to all the prime locations in Shantiniketan such as Sonajhuri hat, Viswa Bharti, and all other places. Rooms as very spacious, service is very good, no issue with safety and parking areas as I went their with my bike. Having a greenery environment it's not like other hotels and resorts, it's like a old fashioned clam homestay with modern amenities. Sob theke valo onwer er behaviour, It's like Barir theke durey ar akta bari....besh nijer akta bepar achey.... Go and visit for all....

Everything good about this homestay...rooms are super clean, wifi speed is quite good ... My wife was working and needed internet and she had no connectivity issues.. plus the room was large enough and comes at a quite affordable price Other than this, the food was really delicious... All you have to do is let them know of the order beforehand.. The location is quite good as well...it is close to Sonajhuri and 15-20 mins from Bolpur Station... 10 mins from the University..

Room size and decoration is very good. Room and washroom is clean. Food quality is not up to the mark and food price is costly compared to market price. Toto driver Srinibas is an excellent person and always ready to go to anywhere without any hurry. His charge is also very reasonable. Overall it is a nice place for weekend stay.

Very neat and clean. Homely atmosphere, service is good. Very Clam place.Location is very good. For family trip with children is a very comfortable to stay within budget. One double bed room actually 3 person can use it very comfortable way. I stay here with my parents for 4 days. Staff are very friendly and cooking is totally homely , we love to stay here again.
