Sonajhuri Hotels

The idea of the resort is good.. the owner is trying to improve and spending a lot but planning and management is poor... Rooms are big... The room toilets are good in size but very improper .. The room's iron door should be replaced with some good proper wood finish doors.. it's looking very odd... poor management... Need some good manager... Who could look after the guest... And manage to get proper service from the lazy stuff... Swimming pool is under-construction.. The restaurant is big enough, you could enjoy the space, the lights and seating arrangement is not bad, fair enough, the food taste is not bad, breakfast is not good .. service is very poor... Location is very good. The owner is a very nice and good person. I think some changes could make the resort more exclusive...

The hotel is very clean, beautiful and well decorated. Ambience is really pleasant. Rooms are hygienic and specially bathrooms are really good. But I think it is expensive, not so good as it's rent. Location is very good, Sonajhuri hat is only 4-5 mins walking distance from hotel. I recommend to avoid foods from this hotel. Foods are good but too much expensive, really too much. Overall it was a nice experience with this hotel.

Resort is situated just 500mtr far walking distance from Sonajhuri hat. Rooms are good, specious. Sonajhuri jungle surrounding the resort. Rs2300 and 1900 is room fair (no GST) in normal time. But festival time room rent is different type package system. Most important things is the cook prepared delicious food. And all staffs are well mannered. But there are no aqua guard facilities. You have to buy water bottle from them.

We spent a very quality time while our stay at La Sonajhuri Resort which is situated amidst the greenery of Sonajhuri forest. The 'shonibarer haat' is within the walking distance and the resort has a quite good and soothing ambiance. Rooms were quite good and maintained. Even room service was good. We also enjoyed the food there during our stay. In totality we had a very very nice stay at La Sonajhuri. Thanks to manager and all staff for his excellent cooperation during our stay over there.

Owner behavious was very humble over call. Room was very clean and well decorated. They provided a safe space for bike parking. Service provided was also great and last but no the least, food ! It was a bit pricey but the bengali cuisine taste was so good.

Recently I visited La-Sonajhuri Resort from 16th to 18th December. The Ambiance of the Resort is very beautiful , lots of greenery and space.. Food quality and quantity is very good. Rooms are little small but can be easily adjustable. Staff and Managers behaviour is so nice. Love to come again.

In nutshell , the hotel is not good. Hotel owner is arrogant. Room Photos in the website are FAKE. The rooms were very small and not well equipped. Our stay from December,2023 was ruined, while clearly owner was drunk. He misbehaved over minor disagreement and ruined our stay in Shantiniketan. The hotel is unreasonably expensive, and dealing with the owner's arrogance feels like we're lowering ourselves. Positive reviews are likely from biased sources (mostly from his own people). This place is not worth the money or the hype --better to stay away. Again , the room photos in the website are FAKE. Please be careful.

While booking we were shown pictures of rooms which were beautiful and tidy facing the garden upon which we agreed to book. On the day we arrived at the hotel, the rooms were completely different. Very small and dirty. We took 2 rooms both facing some corner which had some dirty stuff. Even after requesting, the rooms were not changed and also they disagreed completely that they promised to give rooms similar to the picture shown. Also, it is away from sonajhuri haat and in a dense area. No toto available. We didnot have our car so it was difficult for us. Had a very very bad experience. I will not recommed anyone. The amount that you will pay here in the same amount you will get in a much better hotel. I have also provided pictures of the window view of the room. Hope it will help people who are visiting with friends and family with lots of happiness and expectations. Do not spoil your trip because mine was spoiled by LA SONAJHURI. Thank you.
