Basabari Resort

Spacious rooms and that's the only good thing I can say about this resort. We were a group of 8 people, no other visitors - food was pathetic, service worst. The prices were extremely high. Please avoid this resort.

I had never visited such a worst resort in my life. We visited during 15th Aug long weekend holiday. Rooms are really good, its specious, airy and clean. But the management of the resort is worst. Foods are as taste less as costly. They charges 250 rs for rice, dal, 1sabji, aluvaja and 2 pc of chicken (50 gms for 2 pc) and all the foods are tasteless. Even we found a dead fried cockroach in the friedrice served to us. Evenif we highlighted this to the kitchen worker and caretaker they dont even bother to apologise. You will hardly Found a piece of chicken inside chicken pokora. Mr. Gopal was promised to us that he has arranged a baul show for all the visitors of the resort at the common area, but in evening we found its a private show inside some guest room. On last day they denied to serve morning tea at 9 AM saying that kitchen is still closed. We were so embarrassed and harassed that we checked out without having break fast or a cup of tea. Lastly during checkout they gave us handmade bill instead of actual GST bills. Not a recommended resort.

Awesome place with 16 rooms. Very good hosts and have awesome cleanliness. U can enjoy organic food, they also prepares customized meals as per guests choice in reasonable price. U can also enjoy bonfire, tandooris etc

Rooms are good but food charges are excessive high in compare to other resorts nearby. This resort has no GST no. as per their bill. No catalogue for food also.

It's nicely decorated... Rooms are airy and big..the whole area is very charming..room rents are slightly high though but worth it....foods are really good n completely feels like home

Basabari Resort is truly an amazing place to make you holidays leisure and happier.This place has a bunch of facilities which many of these regional resorts don't facilate . Basabari Resort has a amazing ambience and nice hospitality , it is the ideal place for families and friends to spend their holidays or weekends , the resort staff is very obedient and they know their job and very helpful , the resort has beautiful cottages named under the name of flowers or river maybe , cause I don't remember now , but I would like to say it is the ideal place for spending the holidays and weekend with family and friends .

Awesome experience in Shantiniketan Basabari Resort. Awesome ambience and rooms are very clean. Food are also good. You can feel the nature in basabari resort fully

It's near ilambazar road.... Plenty of plants and flower in the resort... Main thing is the Manager of the resort... Mr Gopal is a very good person, always trying to help you extra... Arranging boul in the evening at this atmosphere was amazing....
