Panchabati Resort

Went for some Lacha Parathas and Kashmiri Aloodum but unfortunately kitchen was closed. Staff said they needed 1/2 an hour to comply to our orders. Hence we rode back.

It is a small place to hang with small group if friends. The place has open area. So at time of rain, it might be difficult to sit there. We ordered rolls and those were good and not costly. They have other snacks in their menu also. The main attraction of this place is hukka. But we were not lucky enough. It was not available at that time. We are planning to go some other day to enjoy that too.

The good things were the food, overall village ambience and a pet friendly host. Rooms were ok. Toilets were sub standard. Lots of insects/ ants inside room and toilet. We were a bit scared as we had a small toddler with us. The location though was very difficult to navigate especially in the dark. It is almost 11-12 km from Biswa Bharati/ Sonajhuri. Overall, an okayish stay. PS. A vehicle is mandatory to reach this place!

Pros:- 1. The staff are friendly and helpful. 2. Rooms are ok. 3. Quiet place with greenery 4. Moderately large washroom with working gyeser facility. Cons:- 1. Very remote location. Google map initially did not show this place. 2. Roads are in extremely poor condition. 3. At night, the roads are completely dark and empty. 4. Rooms need to be sound proof. Noise from next doors kept disturbing us. 5. Proper organised parking space is required. 6. Food is average. 7. Number of rooms are limited.

This is a great place. Away from the hustle of the city, here one can enjoy the calm and serene atmosphere. The tea is awesome and the hookas in the evening are blissful. They also have 4 rooms available as resort stay. The satff is really helpful and will help you with any of your requirements.

Pros: Staff of the hotel are very humble and kind hearted. Rooms are cleaned and spacious.The holte is located out of the main town in the village for refreshment you must stay in this hotel for peace. Cons: They have only 4 rooms.with no Wi-Fi facilities. The main town is away from the 6km.

I love this place. Best place to sit n gossip away from the loud hustle of bolpur. Peace serenity calmness is all u get here. Tea is grt. Food is excellent at the price that they offer. Hookah is always a special attraction here.

Small Eco restaurant cum resort. Located near Bandnabagram. Little far from Santiniketan. Food quality and staff behaviour is very good. It has 5 cottage type rooms. Big pond in the middle of the property. Lots of guava and lemon tree. You can pick as much as you want. Try special tea in earthen cup.
