Sagar Lodge

Rooms are small, and not properly cleaned and maintained. Beds are hard and uneven. Pillows are dirty and not in proper shape. Bedsheets and pillow covers are totally stained, dirty, and unhygienic. Bathrooms are not cleaned and maintained. During my 3-night stay, there was no room service whatsoever. FARE IS CHEAP - OBVIOUSLY FOR THESE REASONS. TOTALLY PATHETIC EXPERIENCE. PLEASE AVOID SAGAR LODGE.

Sagar Lodge is conveniently located near Bishnupur Railway Station, making it an ideal choice for travelers. The lodge is known for its excellent staff, who are courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. The room service and facilities are commendable, offering comfort and convenience. Additionally, the on-site restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices, further enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

As per price Rooms are clean and nice, behaviour of the staff was also polite and kind, food was good. Overall everything was Enough and good compared to low price

Rooms are comfortable so as the room service. They have pitched tents also. Both rooms & tents are well maintained. Staff behavior is nice with smiling face. Distance between the stay and seabeach is only 500mtr. The sea beach is less crowded. Overall nice ambiance. Fresh food supplied. Faced voltage issue and power cut problem.

Baguran Jalpai is one of the most offbeat beech I have ever visited. It's virginity, calm, solitude and pristine beech made us just mad. You can't just expect to have a bath as the water is very much away from the beech but if one can walk a half km you can. The village is full with fish farming.||Now about Sagar Niralay, the only resort there, we were very much satisfied. We booked a cottage, the room was very cozy, clean. They do have hotel rooms and some tents which seemed very comfortable. The staffs were friendly and well behaved, especially Jeetu, Rintu and Swapan, not to mention the owner Mr. Subhash ch. Bhunia who was very co operative. Restaurant and food was just awesome. The total resort was eco friendly, the hammocks attached to the tamarisk (jhow), the poultry (cock, hen and duck) gave us a village feelings. To top all these we visited the local villagers and had an excellent experience. We bought some fresh vegetables (pumpkin, cucumber, tomatoes and gourd leaves) and homemade white gaurd pilule (bori) and ornament pilule (goina bori) which was a bonus for us.||Waiting for another visit and recommend others to visit and spend some relaxing time there to overcome the daily hassles of our hectic life.

To be very practical, I attended with some of my friends. Very basic stay with complaints in almost all rooms. In some room fan is not working, in some ither there is issue with AC. Food is good but the behaviour if hotel staff is not good. Actually at Baguran Jalpai there is only one stay availabke and hence monopoly is there. If you can adjust with them its fine else leave. So if you are comind with friends then ok. But if coming with family, please do not come. Only good thing is food but with fixed menu. No variety is there. Will not recommend.

It is a very nice budget hotel, where you can get A.C room for 800 rupees. It is near the bishnupur station. The rooms are neat and clean. Staff behaviour is also very nice. We had lunch for just 50 rupees per head, with ample food to eat. I would highly recommend this hotel of you are on a budget trip.

I booked two rooms on 24/03/2024 for two days but overall atmosphere, room quality are so bad that I left the hotel cancelling my second day booking( paying 50% damarage) ... Rooms were totally dirty and bedsheets were unclen... They even changed one bedsheet but that was also dirty... Gieser even is not working in one room... Lodge is generally rented for outside party ( marriage , birthday etc) which makes life terrible for tourists... Location is not suitable for tourists.. try to take hotels near Rashmanch... Better to avoid this hotel...
