Hotel Laxmi Park

Some changes need to be made - the bathroom looks very unclean with cockroaches, no exhaust fan, long waiting time for food, otherwise staff is good and so are the rooms but cleanliness is a BIG issue

Rooms are not maintained and basic amenities like soap was missing in the toilet.

To write something about this hotel is tuff one. When constructed this was a good hotel but after the death of the owner this is not like yesteryears! Very approach at reception is not good. The hotel is overcrowded with staff ! Most of them are unprofessional! Rooms are untidy, so are the bathrooms! Horrible restaurant! Problem in supply of water ! No supervision seen by the manager ! Some Boarders disturb others by loud sound up to 1.30 pm at night ! No discipline!

Rooms need cleaning. Poor (read horrible) room service. A fork which I asked arrived an hour after my food was finished. Only a handful of cars may be parked inside the hotel, the rest of the boarders have to park their cars on the road. The hotel is very centrally located though.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The food was exquisite, and the staff's warm and friendly behavior made my experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend it for a delightful culinary journey and excellent service!

This is one of those hotels where you find reasonably cheap rooms with affluent amenities and very courteous and helpful staff. Situated at the heart of the town, this is blindly choseable hotel with fantastic food as well. They were very helpful in arranging milk, boiled potatoes etc for kids, room service was always available on call. Rooms were sufficiently spacious and tidy, parking space was decent enough for 3 of our cars with lots of additional space.

The hotel is centrally located. Room charges were reasonable. Food is good, though only ordered simple dishes. Rooms are spacious. Room service is not so good. I asked for a spoon when the food was delivered into my room but it never came. Car parking room is limited to five or six cars only. If the number of visitors bringing car are more and you arrive with the parking area full, you have to park on the road.

The place is decent for a rural Bengal hotel. It's in the heart of the town so you can walk to the nearby teracotta market and also Rasmancha. The rooms a quite large and has standard linen. The AC are all window old style machines and doesn't have any temperature control. The food served at the restaurant is good. They took quite sometime to prepare but it was worth waiting for.
