Moulisha Resort Joypur Bankura

The place is not habitable. The hygiene of the place was not on point. The resort was understaffed and the AC wasn't working. We felt extremely suffocated inside the room yet there was no effort by staff to solve the issue. Moreover, our pre-booked lunch was served at 3pm (which was booked for 1pm). The dining space was extremely unhygienic and lacked any AC or fan. Overall, it was pretty much our worst experience.

The worst thing I've ever gone through was that! One boy was handling the entire situation! The resort's entry was closed from the outside, so we had to wait for more than forty minutes after arriving! The dish was of very poor quality! There are outrageous fees and no service! I will never recommend this resort, especially to family vacationers! We visited with friends, and I must mention that the resort is completely encircled by dense forest; mosquitoes keep us up the entire night.

The property is quite spacious and they have tried to beautify it in a natural way. It will give you a jungle vibe once you are inside the resort especially after the sunset. But, unfortunately, it is not well maintained. Could be way better. However, the people who work there are well-mannered and polite.

Extremely casual approach by the staff . No TV connection in the room . The power went off at 4 am but the generator was switched on at 8 am . Not recommended for a family vacation.

Me and my wife visited Moulisha resort on 15th June. Manager was the only person looking after everything and there were 2cooks. There behaviour was good. However, there was no water running from the tap on the bathroom, food were overpriced. Once you will order food it will arrive after 1 hour. Once order is given after that manager goes to market. This decision is taken by owner who lives in Hoogly. Even though there is gate in front at the back end it is open and this place is not safe and it is unhygienic. There is frequent power cut in the evening, generator doesn't work. Pump doesn't work

Very bad experience at this resort! From booking to check out formalities, everything was pathetic. Starting with booking, they changed their price range multiple times, but still it was fine understanding staffs are different and perhaps not knowledgeable enough but when we reached the resort, we had to wait for 10-15 min outside for them to open main gate , that's too after multiple phone calls and having a proper advance booking and a reminder prior to the day! Room was satisfactory enough in terms of cleanliness and bed. However service was pathetic again. They were generous enough to serve tea in the evening but not a single person from our 8 persons group could drink it after one sip. Then we ordered barbecue at around 6 PM that too wasn't there till 8pm, then we started multiple follow ups and long story short, we were starving by 10pm that night without having any barbecue and even dinner! One God sent drunk angel suddenly appeared and arranged barbecue with leftover marinated meat I guess, which saved us malnutrition that night atleast. Imagine our poor bodily machine asking for food the entire night. During check out also, we had to call them to wake them up and complete the formalities that wasted our trip time again. I don't write negative reviews usually unless it's really bad as I understand business isn't always same for people but I think not a single person there really cared about their business.

We booked the resort for 3 nights. We booked 1 room in Tree House and 1 Four bedded cottage. My experience during the stay is absolute pathetic and won't recommend any one the resort. There is only one staff who looks after everything. The linens are dirty. Towels are provided after repeated reminders. Food options are very less. They have a package of Rs 650 which comprises of breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. The quality of food is not justified in comparison with price. Washrooms are too small.
