OYO 33455 Hotel Shivam

Very bad hotel, bad behaviour of receptionist and staff. Unhygienic condition. Smoking environment, sound of traffic is so irritating. Not suitable for students and families. Unfair room prices.

Hotel Shiva is one of the older hotels in Baharampur, but unfortunately, it hasn't kept up with modern expectations. While it once may have carried a sense of tradition, the atmosphere now feels outdated. The rooms are quite small, and the rental charges feel high for the space and amenities provided. The bathrooms were not very clean, showing a lack of upkeep. One major issue to be aware of is the billing process. Be sure to review your food bill carefully, as discrepancies can occur. For example, despite ordering specific items, you may find additional charges when it's time to settle the bill. This caution especially applies if you choose a complimentary breakfast package, which has limited options yet sometimes still appears on the final bill as a charge. Overall, while the hotel may still be functional, it hasn't adapted with time, and there are significant areas for improvement in terms of cleanliness, transparency in billing, and value for money.

Great hotel at Berhampore, West Bengal with good service. Excellent location.

# Overpriced hotel. # Very low maintenance. # Food quality is good. # Staff behaviour avarage. # Bed, bedsheet, bathroom condition very very poor. # No Cable connection as basic amenities, every time you need to request manager for a particular channel subscriptions. This is very unprofessional behaviour. # 2nd floor rooms charge near about 1k per day but it doesn't look like 500 rs room. # There are many hotels nearby with the same price but with a better staying experience. # 0 recommendation for staying in Shivam

Rooms are nice and clean. Stuffs are very professional. The hotel got a lift and two restaurants in the building. Every room got a intercom. Rooms got geyser in bathroom. So you can find hot and cold water. But the lacking is the toilets, they are dated. Its one of the good hotel in Bahrampur . Top of all its very pocket friendly.

Recently stayed here for two nights. The location wise - its good, just 10 mins away from Berhampore Court Railway Station. But the hotel is very dirty, not at all clean. Will give you very dirty bed sheets, pillow, towels. Attached toilet's lock was broken. They don't clean properly. I would suggest to the Management to look after the matter seriously. They have a restaurant - Durga, but we never tasted food over there. Its better to go to the Famliy Restaurant's of City Tower Hotel, just 3 minutes away where they serve a very good quality, tasty food.

This was even more filthy and worse than the government lodge. I was initially attracted to the outer appearance and location of the hotel but alas, made the wrong call. I have never seen such a dirty room in a hotel in my life. Stained bedsheets, torn curtains, corners of washroom developed fungus were only to name a few of the outstanding setup at the hotel. Also which offended me even more was the look the guys at the reception gave at us, me and my wife, being a young married couple. Truly pathetic. Never go for this one. Had lunch at their restaurant which was another terrible experience. And yes they don't have their own parking or atleast they didn't provide me. Had to keep my car parked by the main road an entire night.

best location and good rooms.. nice staff .. under your budget ... mouth watering food ... If you dont want to spend too much and need a basic comfortable stay with your family then hotel shivam is an excellent place. the problem is far away from railway station .... but you will get taxi, auto ricksaw
