BOHOR TOURISM PROPERTY

Stayed here on 27/10/24 to 28/10/24 with family. Location is excellent. Upkeep is poor. Service is poor, could not find anyone to take our luggage to the parking. For breakfast I had to look for the staff. They add 100.00 service charges ( optional) without informing you which I realised after checking out. Be careful about billing. Staffs are well behaved. Overall not a value proposition, other private hotels offer far superior experience with less price.

Excellent place to stay & all the staff members are very cooperative. Getting the feeling that we are staying in our own house.

Govt hotel. So can't expect private service. Though not applicable for all WBTDC property. Evening time service boy(specific one) not so friendly. Didn't wanted to serve , if you do not order now , means " now ". Asked him what if I order some food just nearby 10 PM ( Last time for Dinner) , he replied, you may not receive it

Seven of us visited yesterday. We wanted to have a drink. At the bar there is a section completely dark and almost painful to see in that corner. We requested the bar tender to switch on the rest of the lights he said he cannot since some guests wouldn't appreciate being seen in a bar drinking. Later when we asked for a sizzler, the bar tender refused to serve it saying everyone will start coughing. We asked for a peanut masala yet again from the menu and we were refused. We felt like the bar tender was doing us a favour serving us while his regular customers were the only ones entitled to the services. Am not sure why it felt like a private space for ou a few. Is it the corrupt administration that guarantees employees that they can get away with anything..? Horrible service and disinterested staff who barely cared about hospitality and service. What a terrible thing that my state West Bengal failing miserably also in the service industry.

Stayed in this property after a period of 24 years. Things change with the passage of time and two and a half decades is long by any standards. West Bengal Tourism properties are usually exceptional value for money but Bohor needs serious upgrades. The staff are courteous, helpful and go out of their way to cater to your requests, the food is delicious but the rooms require some TLC. The location is unbeatable. Would definitely recommend.

Very bad experience, specially receptionist behaviour (Moumita Pramanik) They communicated room rent 2200 +GST at the time of check in ,. Again Comunicated 2400+GST at the tume of break fast , finally 2600 +GST at the time of billing. They dinied all the previous price .Rooms are spacious but not properly maintained,dust all over the room .food was good .

Bohor Tourism Property in Baharampur is the best place to stay in the area, with no real alternative. Located right on NH34, it boasts a premium yet quiet location--despite being near the highway, no noise reaches the rooms, ensuring a peaceful environment. The hotel covers a large area, and they grow many of their own vegetables, which are served to guests. The food quality is excellent, and the Thali is particularly satisfying. The staff are very courteous, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. There is ample parking space, which is convenient, and for those looking to relax, there's an FL shop nearby for drinks. Families will appreciate the gaming room for children, making it a family-friendly spot. Hazarduari is also close by, so you can easily visit the palace and return to the hotel. Overall, it's a great place for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Baharampur.

Staff behaviour is very good & helpful. The location is also good.
