OYO Dooars Green Resort

The owner seems to believe in alluring people with ultra low rates in online booking apps. But once you reach the property he demands more money, to be paid to him directly. Faced this issue today. Booked property, paid in full few days back. But on arrival at property all drama unfolded. Imagine my predicament as I was travelling with my dad aged 73+, my wife and 8yr old son. Thanks to MakeMyTrip, I was allotted a different resort at no additional charge. Tourists beware, avoid this place if you don't want to be harassed by an unscrupulous property owner.

Spacious cottages, with big windows, a bed made out of bamboo, a sofa, coffee table with cosy chairs, a balcony, beautiful lawn, and a large washroom. A place good for tourists want to stay near lataguri or malbazar. Only disadvantage is the food. A bit costly. Staff was good. Not professional, but you will love their politeness and the eagerness to keep guests happy.

Nice ambiance and good quality food offered. Well behaved staff and homely atmosphere. Service is commendable. Clean and well hygiene maintained. Would recommend Dooars Green resort to everyone. Looking forward to visit again!

Very good clean pretty resort , google has wrong location it on the highway itself don't have to take any bylanes. Staffs are very good and food is also good. The owner of the resort Arun da is a very good humble & kind hearted person. Worth staying

The resort is as good as rhe others you see in the place around Chalsa. But I would say you to not book the resort via so called 'OYO' since it may put you in such a danger that you would never think off the problem you might fall in. So plz book it by contacting directly with the property.

The rooms are very dirty and not clean at all. The behaviour of the staff is third class never in a million years will visit again in this place even if its for free. Lot of checkin hassle if booked through OYO would inform all to never stay here. Also there is no air conditioning at all. Worst experience ever has ruined the vacation mood.

Overall very average experience. Pros: Food was homely and good. Probably because we were the only family staying in the whole resort, they cooked with care and whatever instructions we had provided them like not to put too much oil, or not to put onions in dal etc Cons: This is the most dissatisfying part. 1) We went in April, the room had an AC hanging in the wall and also a remote but we found that the wire connection to the socket is intentionally broken and AC is not in working state. 2) The bathroom had lots of insects from nearby grass fields. The authorities didn't help us remove them and we had lots of difficulty in using it. 3) The TV remote was not working and we had to substitute its batteries with the AC remote's to make it work. 4) After watching TV for an hour or so, the cable provider( Airtel in our case) was displaying message to recharge on the screen because of insufficient balance. We informed the authority to recharge,but they didn't and we had to spend one whole night and next day without the TV and even without any internet connection (very poor mobile network coverage in that area for Airtel and Vodafone).

View n ambiance of hotel is good but facilities are not upto the mark. Room are not so clean. Insects all over. Linen are not so clean. Food is very costly here n taste is ok. Staff are helpfull.
