Aranyak Lodge

Location of this hotel is good, one can easily explore the Ajodhya Hill and related places in one day from here. Quite place and the rooms are average to Good. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. At night you might need a "Torch light" to visit nearby places. At morning, you can go to see the sunrise from Kestobazar Dam, which is within walking distance.

Loved the straight and clear approach of the management and staffs. Rooms are clean enough and specious. Lovely atmosphere , on the lap of nature. No tension, no disturbance, just enjoy the nature. Quality of cooked food should be improved. A must for nature lover.

Nice place, just on the lap of Ajodhya hill. This lodge is situated on a big plot. Our room was big enough to fit 5 people. The rooms are adjacent to one another, because of that you can easily hear normal talk or laugh of people from other rooms. Plus point, they have hot water running in bathroom. Minus point, just a normal LED bulb was present in the room, which is not enough for big room.

5 Star is less to rate this property. Excellent service never felt that I was out side of my home . Food was awesome. Price of packages are little bit on higher side.

The location of the lodge is very beautiful. The staffs and the owner are very well welcoming. The food is also very homely. The only one thing has to be changed or rather better is the room condition. Otherwise it is one of the best place to stay during the peak seasons specially in Holi in Purulia.

2015 I been there in the year 2015, its awesome economic place to stay with, the owner Janardan is too helpful and knowledgeable young man to take care of your every needs. Janardan arranged Chhow dance within ARANYAK lodge complex, it was just fabulous. good fooding, cant expect more at that remote area. As its just at foothill of ajodhya hill (link rd) it gives us better scope to explore the surrounding n local cultures. Being a well educated person Janardan, will provide u proper guide of the place than others lodges n hotels. hope Aranyak Lodge maintain and elevate its standard in near future as people will put their first choice here to saty with. another good aspect to add to review, there are lots of trees around and within Aranyak, means lots a birds to watch on. 2023 We came here again.....

Location is good. Behavior of staffs also good and friendly. But maintainanc is not good. We stayed for 3 days. Every morning we faced electricity problem during bathing. No electricity means no geyser and no hot water. Food is ok. The compound is not well maintained. We booked both non-ac standard and normal four-beded rooms. Cold wind enters in four-beded rooms through doors. Overall, we enjoyed the trip very much.

It's a truely & homely village environment. Foods are fresh with resealable price. All staff are very cooperative and honest too. Mr. Mahato is a truely gentleman, he supports his best in all aspects.
