Ubique Hotel

I recently visited the restaurant for dinner and was quite impressed by the pleasant ambiance. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the overall experience had its merits. I ordered the Schezwan rice noodles, which were prepared from scratch--something I truly appreciate, though it understandably took some time. However, due to my urgency, the dish was prepared in haste, resulting in the noodles not being properly dried before frying. Upon pointing this out, the staff graciously acknowledged the oversight and offered a sincere apology, which I commend. Alongside the noodles, I had the Chilli Chicken, which turned out to be exceptionally flavorful and well-prepared--a definite highlight of the meal. Additionally, I'm sharing the updated pricing along with this review for the reference of fellow patrons.

The waiter miss kiran was very polite and offered highly splendid service us. It was memorable day in our life. I strongly recommend everyone to experience the hospitality of her service.

I had a horrible experience at Ubique Hotel on my wedding day, 10th December 2024. What should have been a joyous occasion turned into a nightmare when most of the jewelry kept at the bride's sitting area was stolen. The theft likely occurred when the bride stepped out to the lawn area for the wedding rituals. Although the venue is equipped with CCTV cameras, the owner and staff were extremely uncooperative. Despite our repeated requests, they refused to show us the footage. We were harassed as we had to visit the venue three times to ask for the recordings, and each time, they gave us a different excuse. Ultimately, they claimed the footage was already deleted, which is absolutely unacceptable. Their lack of accountability and poor management caused us immense stress during an already emotional time. I strongly advise against booking this venue for any event if you value the security of your belongings and expect professionalism from the staff. This experience was nothing short of a disaster, and I would give zero stars if possible.

I visited restaurant with my family on 15.04.25. I experienced that it is the most worst place in Barrackpore. The food quality was most horrible, terrible, 3rd class , tasteless, dangerous and after taking this food you feel nausea, vomiting and sick and perhaps need to be hospitalized. The food pricing was very high compared to 3rd class food. It is perfect place for only drunken (Piyakad) people.

We had a terrible experience with Ubique Hotel. We booked the venue almost a year before my wedding and were initially quoted 2,25,000 for the event. At the time of booking, we were assured that flower decorations were included in this price, which seemed reasonable given the high cost. However, just seven days before the wedding, they suddenly informed us that flower decorations were not included. They then pressured us to work with Ananya Wedding Planner, a vendor they have a tie-up with. This planner quoted us 85,000 for the decorations, which was an exorbitant amount. We were completely blindsided, but after some tough negotiations, they reduced the price to 64,000. Even this was still too expensive for us, but we had no choice but to agree. Despite the high charges, the decorations on the wedding day were extremely disappointing. The fabric used was dirty, the flowers were of poor quality, and the overall setup was nowhere near what we had expected. To make matters worse, there were two weddings taking place at Ubique Hotel on the same day, causing complete chaos. The loud music from the other event constantly disrupted our ceremony, adding to our frustration. In the end, we were charged a total of 3,15,000 for the entire event. To top it all off, they didn't even turn on the air conditioning until 7:45 p.m., despite our repeated requests throughout the day. I strongly advise against booking Ubique Hotel and working with Ananya Wedding Planner. Don't fall into their trap!

I stayed here for a week, in the semi deluxe room and the room service was very good. The conditions of the room were also nice.. the food from the restaurant was exceptional. The staffs behavior were very gentle, kind and respectful. The view from the hotel was also very peaceful as it was far away from the roadside and no noise was there I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars because they didn't change our bedsheets and we had to use it for 7 days straight...But the sheets were clean so it wasn't too bad afterall.. Anyways I would surely recommend this hotel!

Food and ambience, both are good in this restaurant. Only one thing, I would like to say that, the price is on the higher side. Quite high.

Poor management, On our wedding date,when we reached there in the morning we found the mandop was not clean...we were too late to start the Nandimukh puja after cleaning...
