Kalyan Lake Resort

We were impressed with the nice entrance and well kept garden area. But utterly disappointed with the stay. Most uncomfortable and cheap furniture, smelly and tiny basic bathroom and not the best lake views. Definitely not worth the high tariffs they charge.|Room service and food was however reasonably good.

I visited Kalyan Lake Resort in Baranti, Purulia last week with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is situated in a peaceful location with a beautiful view of the lake, which made our stay truly refreshing. The property is quite spacious, giving us enough room to walk around and enjoy nature. The rooms were clean and cosy, providing a comfortable stay. The food was tasty, and we enjoyed every meal. Another highlight was the reception staff, who were very responsive and ensured smooth check-in and assistance throughout our stay. The hospitality of the staff in general was commendable--they were polite, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in the lap of nature. Rating: 8/10.

An excellent place for staying in Baranti, maybe the Best, food is also good, if u r with ur family with kids, try this property, may be the best choice for staying with different vibes and with ample amount of space for ur playing kids. From my experience I can vouch for this place, Maybe the price is on the upper side, trust me it's worth it. On the accommodation side I can tell u as The Best as what I perceive from family side review with kids also. The best part is the compound with the number of trees which adds a look for this property. On the food part, it was quite good on behalf of the non vegetarian side but not for the vegetarians side.

Rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, ample space for walk, car parking. Some good books on local history and temples are really thoughtful of the management. Baranthi Lake is few kms away. Beautiful place for morning evening walking. Overall value for money

Nice calm place. Attractive interiors. Need improvement in AC. Avoid tents in summer and rainy season. The food is delicious.

Stayed two nights here. Inside the property it is a big property with parking space, pond, dinning area and garden. Baranti lake is around 3 minutes drive from the property. We booked 3 rooms and all the Bathrooms are stinky. Need renovation. The wardrobe found brocken which they fixed at evening. Food is not at all good. Breakfast is ok.

Had stayed at this lake resort too. The inside of the resort is well maintained. Rooms are very good, cleanliness is up to the mark, food is very good, service is very good. Had a great time there. I only wish it was facing the reservoir. However the Baranti reservoir is very near and could spend a very beautiful morning there. From this resort, Gorponchokot, Panchet dam, Joi Chandi hills are easily be visited.
