BAREDI ECO Resort

This place is one of the worst ones where I have stayed. Firstly the rooms(not the tents) are haunted and the place is isolated and there's no connectivity with the outside. You have to firstly travel 3-4 kms off from the main road and then travel another 1-2 kms to a small village and then take a mud road for 500- 600 meters to reach the place.There's no network,food is disgusting and during booking they will tell you that the rooms have ac and water heaters and will charge you for the same but once you arrive at the spot they will tell you that the ac and water heater is not available as they don't have a permanent electricity supply. The food is disgusting and they serve anything and think that the guests will like it,they have a generator for electricity blackouts but don't have the oil to run it, the whole night that we stayed, power went off every five minutes, the rooms don't have celling fans and small table fans are given,the place is not at all family friendly and is used by bachelors as an oyo(if you know what I mean). I'm writing this review to spread awareness about the place and share my own experience as a customer and have no intentions to spread hate about the place.

This Eco resort is at good location . Away from the market n all chaos . They don't have any ac rooms . Minimum furnitures inside the tents , only bed & one fan no table or no clothes hanging rod nothing . The staffs are very good . Specially the manager Ayan babu is very good . We suffered of power cut often . I think it can be great place to spend 1/2 days but few things needs to be improved .

If you want luxury, don't go here. But if you want to get closer to nature, this is the place yo stay in. Experience living in a tent, hike hills, eat authentic Bengali food, enjoy warm hospitality.

Wonderful experience gathered in this trip. Awesome scenic beauty Wonderful offbit place for those who love to be surrounded by nature in a peaceful environment along with homely atmosphere. Food which is served in very fresh and good quality . Such a nice behavior of everybody. We enjoyed a lot in this trip.

Such a great experience indeed to watch the rising moon from the hill range. Staff behaviour was good,food was too. The only concern was it was little bit interior from the main road. But one should enjoy complete village type accomodations with all modern equipments. I must appreciate Mr. Avijit the owner of the eco stay as he and his team is very much co-operative in every sense. Thanks to them.

Baredi is a gem of Purulia's natural beauty and Baredi eco resort is a great offbeat place to enjoy weekend. Surrounded by Mahadeb bera, Kuhuburu and other hills and unspoilt forest in almost three sides, this place is charmingly beautiful by all means. Swiss cottages are big, cozy and comfortable and view from verandah is simply breath-taking. Nights are quiet and cool. They grow organic vegetables in the premises and food is sumptuous and super tasty. Behaviour of the staff is polite, always smiling and helpful. They arrange guided short treks in near by hills and forests. We have enjoyed every moment here. But unfortunately check out became horrible! They simply kicked me out of my tent at around 9am (with a nominal gesture of apology) as their next set of guests were heading for resort from near by rail station. I hope, there should be properly mentioned and displayed check in and check out time like every other resort. They are new in hospitality field and for this consideration I will be happy if I could forget the incident. But winter morning 9am is too early to vacant the tent with a mere 2 minutes notice! I travel extensively, teach tourism studies in a Central University and wrote nearly 40 books on travel and tourism, but never faced such embarrassing moment before. If they do the same practice with other tourists, that will ruin their all good gestures they show right from the check in time.

We stayed from 16th March to 20th March. We were a family of 5.. Excellent hospitality, nice location. Specific mention to the staff and the owners for the warm family like hospitality extended during our stay.. If Purulia is the place to go for Scenic beauty, this is the resort to go

Great place to stay in Purulia. Nestled in the kuhuburu hill in the ajodhya rang this eco camp offers great scenic beauty. There is a waterfall and a valley which can be accessed with a Little trekking. If someone is adventure lover then the road leading to the site is the perfect one. The hospitality is superb. The host Mr. Avijit is nice person who can accommodate all your needs. You can enjoy local chhow and adibasi dance performance. You can savour their lipsmacking food with freshly harvested vegetables of their own farm. Overall very enjoyable stay.
