We stayed at this hotel a month back with friends and family. It is located at the centre of the city and reaching there may be difficult in car/cab due to traffic restrictions. You may have to walk few hundred meters or take a rickshaw to reach there. The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is calm inside, quite a contrast from the surroundings. Staff know their work well and are courteous. We did not have lunch or dinner there so can not comment about that. Overall it was a great experience. We had lot of

Good Hotel in Burdwan. Location is also good. But the entrance through narrow lane. For big car it's challenging to get in front of the hotel. You have to get down around 40-50meter ahead. Parking facilities are not available. Rooms are of medium quality. Food quality average. They accept cards.

I had a plan to stay for 2 nights,but fled from the hotel the neaxt day morning at 6 am. Extremely overpriced rooms. For a small town like Burdwan, room tariff is 2700/- for a small double bed room. Toilet is pathetic with water leaking from commode shower & from basin tap. I stayed in Room 303. The window outlooks a narrow busy lane with full chaos. The food prices are like 3 star hotel. Extremely unfriendly front desk staff. They charged me for WiFi but in the evening told me that WiFi is available only in the lobby. This is cheating. I was so frustrated, that I left the hotel the next day morning.||||Avoid is over priced, low quality hotel at all cost. You will simply be wasting your money here.

Unmarried couple allow or not ?

We arrived in October 2015 to stay for one night.||Strangely, there was NO ONE ELSE staying at the hotel then!||A little apprehensive, we walked in. They photocopied our passports, out driving licenses, our flight boarding passes... and then they went into a huddle. ||And all this after booking on the phone, transferring the cash for one night's stay by bank transfer after talking to the "manager" on phone and confirming (and reconfirming!) our reservation.||Finally, after about a tense 20 minutes (after the "paperwork") and several whispered phone calls, we were allowed to check in.||||The room:||Very basic. A double bed, two very soiled looking, used pillows. ||The bed sheet had holes in it - a careless smoker.||The rickety chairs in the room look suspicious.||No matter WHAT you read on the hotel description, the hotel DOES NOT have central AC. We know because the AC inside the room was not working. After much discussions, the receptionist himself came and fixed/started up the AC. Our pleas to move us to another room fell on deaf ears. Apparently another room was not "ready". Considering there was no one else staying in the hotel at that time, this was ridiculous.||||The Bathroom:||And this is the sole reason my wife & I have sworn a solemn oath NEVER to visit the hotel again. ||The plumbing in the bathrooms has been done by a genius. ||The waste from your basin very nicely disappears into the wall behind. But wait! about six feet down the same wall, it pours everything BACK into the bathroom floor! How wonderful is that! The drainage in the bathroom is poor, so what do we have? Every bit of spit, snot, toothpaste drool and other miscellaneous bits and pieces from your face mouth and nose will swirl around your ankles for a few minutes before (finally!) disappearing down the drain!!||||The Food:||There isn't any.||No restaurant, no tea coffee, nothing.||If you ask for something, someone (probably the receptionist) will dash down to the local hole-in-the-wall and get something back for you. ||You risk cholera with every bite.||||And lastly, the Parking.||We parked our car in the hotel "parking". Our driver was give a room (we paid Rs. 1000/- for his room) and we told the receptionist and the guard that we have to leave at 0300 hours. Yes, 3 AM in the morning. ||Multiple times. ||To everyone we could spot. ||||And yet:||We wake up to find there was no receptionist, the gates of the hotel was barred with a collapsible gate, and the night guard knew nothing about our departure.||||The place our car was parked, was locked in by huge iron gates, and the key to the gate lock was not available. The guard made it out that it was our fault that he was put to such an inconvenience. The receptionist arrived on the scene half an hour later, in a vest and shorts, and he did not have the keys either. And we were getting late for our flight.||||Long story short, it took us 45 tense minutes for someone to locate the keys, walk 10 minutes to the parking lot with our luggage, locate the car and be on our way.||||NEVER AGAIN!!

The hotel located busiest place in Bardhaman. It is inside a narrow lane. May be this is only decorated hotel in this small town. The hotel is quite small but the rate is very exorbitant compare to the quality. Very small room but not properly cleaned. Does not look too many people stays here. Food quality ok. Service is also mediocre.

There's nothing exemplary about this hotel. The rooms are decent and food is also okay. The only advantage is its location, it is situated very near to the market place and Karjon gate. But the hotel highly over-priced. Room rate per night is 2K+ which is very high for an average hotel in a small town like Burdwan.
