The room is ok, washroom is clean but the light and exhaust fan are not working properly and some of the lights of the room are not working properly. The behaviour of the staff members here is good but the behaviour of the manager is very bad. He does not even have the manners to talk to women in a polite manner and he has a very cheap mentality person, typically money minded. Only one thing is good that this hotel is close to the station.

I recently stayed at Samrat hotel that is conveniently located near the railway station. However, my experience was marred by the hotel's poor service and money-minded staff. The atmosphere felt restrictive and unfriendly, much like being in a jail. During my stay in room 412, I felt extremely uncomfortable and suffocated. The room had a strong and unpleasant odor, reminiscent of a neglected and abandoned space. The smell was overpowering and made my stay even more unbearable. One of the major issues I faced was the hotel's inflexible checkout policy. If you need to check out early in the morning, be prepared to pay an extra fee just to have the gate opened. The staff is reluctant to open the main gate before 8 am, seemingly prioritizing their own sleep over the needs of their guests. To make matters worse, the manager's behavior was unprofessional and ridiculous. Their attitude towards guests is dismissive and unhelpful, making it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority. What's even more disturbing is the hotel manager's response to my concerns about the poor condition of the room. When I mentioned the negative reviews and feedback from other guests, including those on YouTube, the manager dismissed them as fake. It's astonishing that instead of taking responsibility and apologizing for the issues, the manager chose to deny the legitimacy of the reviews and shift the blame elsewhere. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone due to its poor service and unfriendly staff.

This hotel has a convenient location for travelers who need to catch trains and buses, such as those to Bardhaman-Ranchi. However, the rooms are subpar and pose health concerns. They reuse the same water bottles for multiple guests, which is unacceptable and poses a risk to customer health. The service staff is unprofessional and biased, prioritizing guests who tip them over others. It appears that the entire hotel staff, including the manager, is complicit in this behavior. Perhaps most alarmingly, the hotel manager seems to turn a blind eye to illicit activities, including prostitution, in the hotel rooms. This raises serious concerns about the hotel's values and commitment to providing a safe and respectful environment for guests. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to its numerous shortcomings and questionable practices. The hotel's convenient location is not enough to redeem its many flaws, and guests would be better off seeking alternative accommodations that prioritize their health, safety, and well-being.

Bad hotel which I have ever experienced in my life. They don't have any manner and they look down on others

The hotel's location is favorable due to its proximity to railway stations within walking distance. The 700 Rs room was claustrophobic with no windows. The 900 Rs room was acceptable, but the bathroom was consistently unclean with a tap that leaked water. The reception was situated on the 5th floor, and on the 4th floor, the Wi-Fi was not functional. If you have an urgent situation and budget constraints, it may suffice for your needs.

The rooms are pretty decent but lack of ventilation makes it hard to stay in the summer season in the non AC room. washrooms are pretty clean. service and their behaviour is very good. please bargain while taking the room. They provide paid food in the room but you will get better options nearby. Location is the Highlight of this hotel.
