We stayed 3 nights at jungle camp. It was great fun going on boat safaris every morning and enjoying the peace of the forest. The boat crew and guides totally looked after us and kept us well fed all day. The food was outstanding, we enjoyed many local dishes and fish we hadn't tasted before. Our guide Manoj was happy to take us on impromptu bird watching and night safaris. The camp is well set up and very comfortable. Definitely recommend a trip to the sundarbans, and Help Tourism is very knowledgeable and helpful in travel planning .

It was a very enjoyable stay, spacious rooms and bathrooms, clean furnishings. Not luxurious as in a 5 star hotel but homely. There is no tv or internet so we fully focused on experiencing nature, bees and the birds, of which there are plenty including the colourful kingfishers in the resort! |We were picked up by Sanjoy da from our hotel in Kolkata who took care of our group so well down to the minutest detail. The full day trips on the private house boat were memorable with endless supply of delicious food prepared on the boat. The food served in the resort was very good and we were eager to find out the recipes from the Bengali cook! Help Tourism has a very dedicated team who all seem to love what they do. Would definitely love to return to the resort some day.

We were a group of 17 nos family and friends. So the entire Camp was ours for 3 nights / 4 days. Could not have asked for anything better in a place like Sunderbans. And the entire team of SJC led by Sanjay their Manager are exemplary in their genuine display of superlative service standards. Quiet, unobtrusive, yet very personalised. ||The rooms are very large, well appointed, and very clean. If at all, once could have had a slightly brighter lights inside the room and a bigger wardrobe to keep clothes. But then maybe we were a group who stayed longer than most groups here and hence the need for a larger space for our clothes.||The food was homely and excellent as far as the fish preparations went. As I have a bias towards fish, my rating would obviously be higher. I was told by my friends who were vegetarian that the veg dishes were a bit too oily and the vegetables kind of got lost in the oil. ||The weather was unsusually cold and chilly for Sunderbans. It was actually cold. And what a pleasant surpise to find hot water bottles being given to keep the blankets warm as well as for the extra chill on the boats.||The icing on the cake was the superlative group of Naturalists with us on all the boat trips - the super talented and top of the line Rishin Basu Roy and Prasun Majumdar from Nature Mate Nature Club and Nabo, Manoj, Tanmoy, and all the other local guides. Despite the extra chill and fog, we did get to enjoy the mangroves fully and returned back fully satisfied and with oodles of new info and knowledge thanks to all the Naturalists and guides.||Al in all a great trip and where Sunderbans Jungle Camp played a huge role in making it memorable and enjoyable.

We stayed at the lodge as part of a birding trip with Naturalist Journeys. Comfortable cottages on the banks of the Datta river. Very comfortable beds, with nets. The only meals we had at the lodge was dinner, breakfast and lunch were served on the boat. Dinner was delicious and they serve beer and had diet coke and ice!||We left early each day to board the boat and reurned late. The boat crew was amazing, guiding us through the maze of wetlands searching for tigers and birds. What can I say about the food on board, where did he cook this fabulous food, served on the upper deck in the breeze? ||The uneven surfaces on land were a challenge for senior citizens, The stairs were very slippery, the crew did their best to wash the silt off before we disembarked. The pathway was very uneven and hard to see in the dark. Thankfully I had someone to guide me. ||The walk along the levee was very interesting, families out walking, women carrying wood on their heads, dogs barking, a lovely view into life along the river.

I recently stayed at the Sundarban Jungle Camp, and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience! The camp was nestled in the dense jungle, surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife. The accommodations were basic but comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and plentiful, with a variety of dishes to choose from and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. The activities on offer were fantastic, ranging from guided hikes through the jungle to canoeing down the river and exploring the many caves and waterfalls nearby. I had the chance to see some incredible wildlife, such as monkeys, sloths, and toucans. All in all, my stay at the Jungle Camp was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure in the jungle.

Fantastic stay at the jungle camp. The food was amazing we loved every meal we had there. Staff were brilliant both at the camp and on the boat. We did not expect to see a tiger but so enjoyed the journey through the sunderbans. As it was very hot, there were very regular drinks to keep us hydrated and put extra fans in our room. Thank you so much.

This is a really great place to stay in Sunderbans and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature. Mr Sanjoy and his team take care of every single detail and offer the chance to have a truly relaxing vacation. All the staff members in the resort as well as the boat were very friendly and hospitable. Every small thing is taken care of including the pick up from home and the transfer by boat to the resort.||||The guides were very knowledgeable and helped us spot a wide variety of wildlife (missed the tiger unfortunately). The food at the resort as well as the one served on the boat was really tasty and filling. The rooms in the resort are very spacious and well maintained. Highly recommended for a quick getaway from Kolkata

I spent two nights at Jungle Camp a few weeks ago, with two more friends. The three of us all loved the place, the activities, the food and the setting. We enjoyed a very pleasant tour of the surrounding villages and vegetation, with a final stop for an evening local religious celebration, and the day after we went on a safari boat, together with a prepared forest guide who helped us spot the animals - no tiger though, but it seems to be a rare event. Our rooms were incredibly spacious and clean, with a terrace for relaxation. All the staff were very kind and helpful. Special mention goes to the food we were served, delicious and healthy. The staff also changed the location for a couple of meals, to our amazement. I strongly recommend helptourism to visit this area. |
