OYO 14331 Hotel Aquarium

Hotel Aquarium with fooding and lodging is best place for celebration of any occasion like vacation, merriage, couples, Party, Birthday, business trip, anniversary, conferences or simply as a place to stay during a visit or any other events. Good thing that it's very closer to Bagdogra Railway station with few minutes of walking distance and Environment of this hotel is best with so many facilities like free Wifi, neat and clean rooms and surrounding. I found few negative reviews but personally I found everything fine during our stay on occasion of merriage celebration of my Pramod MamaG on May 05 2025. I talked to owner about rent price of these rooms then he told that AC room with double bed is available at Rs1400/day. While rent of AC room with single bed is Rs1200/day, Rent of Non-AC room is 1000/day with double bed and rent of non-AC room having single bed is Rs700 to Rs800/Day (23 hours). But It seems from his statements that there might be few discount or bargaining in rent price. Check in time is 12 'o clock in the day and check out time is 11 o clock on the next day while 11am to 12pm is time for cleaning rooms and bathroom etc. He told that If anyone comes at 8-9 am in the morning then they are also welcome but their check in time will be assumed as 12 o clock on that day. However it's recommended to come at 12pm. Please note that Aadhar Card or any government approved identity card is must here for all members. "Gournitai" Pure vegetarian restaurant is very closer to this hotel from where you can order any veg dish via staffs of this hotel Aquarium as Aquarium don't have personal fooding service and for serving food their staffs brings food from other nearby hotels restaurants. (However Kitchen room is available here, where you can self cook any food if you have all the cooking materials). Don't think anything negative because When they delivered Paneer dish from "Gournitai" then It was very tasty but quantity was less that I got after sharing among 2-3 members, so it's not problem of hotel. We are vegetarian So I prefer only veg restaurant else you can order anything from any hotels restaurants. We spent a 3 day weekend getaway here and everything was first class. We requested a View Suite and the view was amazing. Loved the floor to ceiling windows. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was huge and had everything you could want. All staff members were friendly and professional, especially the front desk. They were very helpful at check-in.

Pretty good hotel. Location close to a lot of things, especially the airport. Food and market close by, and it's definitely worth the price. The rooms and the hotel overall was very clean, but there was some smell in the room. Not overpowering, but just a little weird. The geyser had issues, we didn't get hot water in the shower, but for an overnight stay close to the airport, I'd recommend it.

We spent 3 nights in Aquarium Building&Hotel and absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were very professional and helpful. Also, we had room service for our first dinner and the food was amazing! One of the juiciest roasted chicken I ever had!! We also amused and really liked it!

We love staying here and will always do so when we're in the area. It's clean and service is outstanding. Last time there, our refrigerator in the room wouldn't get cold enough. Maintenance came right up and replaced something. When we returned from dinner shortly after that, we noticed it still wasn't working well so we called the desk to let them know and within minutes, maintenance was back up with a brand new refrigerator out of the box. This experience relates well how this place operates. Everyone is friendly, rooms are clean and their breakfast is delicious with many choices including omelettes made to order. Stay here and I can't imagine you'll be disappointed.

Good place for arranging ceremony. Air conditioning hall rooms are feeling comfortable. Airport is nearly this place. This place located at the junction point between NH-31 & AH-02. Car parking area is fine. Communication of this area is fine because Railway station is also near to this place, within one kilometre. Lift facilities not available till now. But almost good for overall.

Pathetic and a dirty hotel, pathetic staff behaviour. The only room where one could find a pillar in the middle of the room (see pic). Crazy place. The owner himself was drunk with his associates at the reception. When we complained on the cleanliness of the room, the guy at the reception was rude put simply. He told me in a raised voice that the bathroom cannot be cleaned now (approx 10 pm). The bedsheets were smelly n dirty, the curtains were dusty. The pillows seemed as if they have never been cleaned (see pic of the inside the cover) The room had a damp smell to it (see pics of water seepage). The bathroom door had a dead cockroach stuck to it (see pic). I was staying there with my wife n daughter and even felt insecure in the hotel as the room next to us was given to a group of young boys who kept shouting and drinking till about 1am. Unfortunately everything can be heard across the alley, even the banging of the doors. The sounds of busses n trucks on the highway will not let you sleep. But in the end, the lack of empathy shown by the staff and the the way the rooms are being maintained, I would advise you to look for a room elsewhere.

Plenty to do in the hotel. game area, ice cream & pizza shop and even a fire pit for evening relaxation . Room was clean and perfect. Great location to all the shopping! the evening which we totally enjoyed. Our driver was tourist guide and he gave us a nice tour. I will be staying here again next year.
