Orbit Hotel Bagdogra

Apprehensive after reading reviews, hotel was a pleasant surprise. Situated on third floor of building it is only operational floor. Remainder floors, shopping complex have fallen on bad times due to construction of flyover opposite the complex. Hotel is clean, and rooms are large. Despite being an older property, furniture, fitments, linen and decor are new. TV and large selection of channels is welcome. Restaurant has been neatly decorated. Staff are friendly and readily prepared to help. Parking is large and travellers with own vehicle will find secure parking here. Only negative aspect is the building and surroundings are not in use and therefore is dirty. If guests stick to lift and stay in hotel floor it is great experience.

Old property No maintenance.Bathroom is a night mare.Water taps are almost non-functional. Rooms can't be put latches from inside. You have to lock every time. To lock with half broken locks and keys you need to fight for sometime with lock and key. The room service is very good. The hotel manager was very good but helpless on the issues. Rooms are spacious but no use due to poor maintenance. Foods are good. Staff discipline at entrance on ground floor old reception is pathetic. Noone was there to guide to arrive third floor where hotel is exactly operational now

Well-equipped hotel with friendly staff. We stayed for a night. The arrangements were good. Staff Ramnarayan was very considerate and helpful. Bed linen, bathrooms were clean. Bedroom was spacious. They also provided water kettle. Food was decent

The only plus point is that the hotel is close to airport! Staff is good but helpless as the property is badly maintained. A lot of inconveniences for the guests.Not a pleasant experience!

Group of 22 members stayed in this hotel on 19th April 2025. Entry to hotel is not attractive but rooms are good enough to stay.

We have stayed in the hotel on 30.10.24 as part of our North East tour, arranged by a Siliguri based tour operator "IMhimalaya". The stay in the hotel was a very bad experience which spoiled the spirit of our whole trip. The bed linen appeared old and used one, the bathroom was very dirty with leaking shower. The room attendant who came to repair faulty kettle showed up in a very unhygienic look. Overall I will not recommend the place for a decent stay.

Very good service and good staff behaviour. Lovely place to stay with family. Recommended to all
