It was great experience here, feels like staying in home the hospitality was amazing and the gardens just wow you can seat and enjoy the moments. Specially food was really fingure licking . And one of the best thing the bagdogra airport is just 20 mins away by walking.

Nice stop over for going to/from airport. Very convenient location to airport. Beautiful gardens and tea plantation surrounds the accommodation. Host is very friendly, welcoming, and making sure we were comfortable. Large room with common area and dinner was very very good. Speaks good english too. Highly recommend

Stayed here before a hike. Kushal and her lovely family went above and beyond to look after us. Made a delicious breakfast for us every morning and you can pay a little bit extra for her to cook you lunch and dinner (I would definitely recommend it's delicious) thanks so much for having us!

For a person like me, it's a perfect place to relax, When I first entered I was impressed by the behavior of the hosts, they were so sincere and sociable.Moreover, the rooms were very good and the dinner was cooked immediately with local vegetables ,that i really enjoyed, Moreover, you will get a garden and a lot of free space if you want to go, spend time with yourself and read books. Note :This Bhangbari has many stories that you will know when you visit, this location is within 5 minutes from the airport

My husband, our two dogs, and I had the pleasure of staying at Himmat Guri, and I must say, Kusha is an outstanding host! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The welcoming gesture of preparing meals for our furry friends was truly touching. The property itself is a serene oasis, boasting stunning gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, offering a true home-cooked experience at an unbeatable value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wholeheartedly recommend Himmat Guri to anyone seeking a wonderful getaway. Kusha and her team's exceptional hospitality and the property's natural beauty make it a must-visit destination!

Wonderful Place and great food ! Had a overnight stopover before flying out of Bagdogra , the hosts ( Kushal and Naveen ) were very accommodating , highly recommended

Kushal and her family are such nice hosts! The communication in advance was super easy and the place was just perfect. A small oasis nearby the airport. We stayed for one night and the food was delicious. After dinner we spent some time with Kushal and her husband. Both are very funny and sympathetic, we had a great time there, although we only spent one night. Next time we come to Bagdogra we surely will come again to this marvelous home!

There was a change in our travel plans and i needed an accommodation which was close to Bagdogra airport for one night. We were in Paro ( Bhutan) at that time when I was trying to book a hotel in Bagdogra area. I saw the great reviews and called up the number. Mr navin was kind enough to offer me a room for two pax. Also since I was in bhutan my indian number was not working and gpay was an issue. He was kind enough to still confirm my booking and I promised to transfer some advance amount the moment I was in jaigaon. The property is actually owned by Ms. Kushal. It's like a heritage property surrounded by a lot of beetle trees and greenary. The nameplate on the gate is a bit difficult to notice so we missed it, but ms. Kushal came out and showed us in. We were greeted by her array of pets both doggos and cats. That was actually one of the reason I chose this property over a hotel since wanted to be around the cats. The room given to us was an upstair room inside their own home. The only challenge I felt in the entire stay was to lug our suitcases up the stairs, but that's about it. The room was neat and clean, though it's a vintage property. The easychairs and some of the room decor would remind you of the bygone era. We played with her pets for a while and then it was dinner time. Aunty cooked us finger licking good comfort food. Each and every dish was simply amazing. We even asked her some of her recipes. After a great dinner we went to bed and we had a good sleep. Next day it was pouring, we already had asked a toto dada to come pick us up for airport as we had an early morning flight. It's like 3-4 minutes drive from the stay to the airport. The toto was also arranged by ms kushal at a seperate cost. Overall quite a recommended stay. If you are looking for a hotel-like feel then this is not for you. But if you are looking for home away from home, lots of greenery, surrounded by rescue pets, great homemade food and proximity to the airport then it's a great place to stay. Would definitely love to visit again.
