Kusum Home Stay

We had stayed for a night at this beautiful homestay while back from Bhutan trip. We had a flight to Mumbai from Bagdogra airport. Our experience at this homestay was very good. The owner knows very well what hospitality is. She is very kind. Location is also very close to the airport. Food served for the dinner and breakfast was also very nice. She had served local sweet dish too in dinner. I thank her once again for the beautiful experience. Best wishes. God bless her. :)

We stayed there on 21st & 27th April, 2025. Kusum Home Stay is very close to the Airport jut 2 to 3 minutes drive. Room was clean, space also good, wash room also very hygienic. Food also testy & quality with quantity. Hosts also so nice with guests..they are so supportive. They can arrange taxi also for Airport drop & pick up. They really make your stay comfortable.

The rooms were clean as we stayed there for one night. As we this was referred to us by a driver he accomodate all four of us in one room that was in AC we had parathas for breakfast which was amazing. As we were having a flight next day hence we booked this homestay.

Very close to the airport. Hardly 2.5 kms from the Bagdogra airport. The rooms were clean and newly built. Good for 2. If one wants stay for a night or two and head to Bhutan or nearby locations next day, it's ideal. PS. Not very ideal for senior citizens or people who need assitance (wheelchair) as they will have to climb 2/3 floors. One might get sceptical by looking at the location but trust me you will feel safe when you'll the owners and reach there. The entrance is yet to be constructed so it's a part of owner's shop and fast food centre. Though clean and has some space to sit and relish their food and Kuladh Chai. Hosts, the couple, Mrs Anu and Mr Amit were extremely helpful and polite in attending us. They live in the same building so security is not an issue. Mrs Anu is a great cook and we loved her 'Ghar ki thali' MUST TRY. Even breakfast was really good and Matka/Kulhadh Chai. Also, take a walk on their roof in the night or early morning. Bliss. We wish all the luck and success to the couple.

The best part is the homely atmosphere, combined with a prime location at the best price. Clean rooms, high-quality food, and an extra dining room are like the cherry on top of a chocolate pastry. Parking isn't an issue, as the homestay is conveniently located on the service road. Don't forget to ask Bhaisahab to sing a couple of songs in the evening -- it's an experience you shouldn't miss!

Excellent place to stay and catch your morning flight ( bagdogra airport is at walking distance). Good homely food, good rooms... Give it a go!

I'm actually cycling across India. And this is so far the best place I have stayed in my whole journey, the food that I had here was even more amazing for sure, especially the momos you'll definitely love it and you definitely won't regret about anything that you eat here. It's also the most accessible to the airport. Just walkable distance to the airport. And on the top the owners of the homestay are very helpful for me, they took care of my bicycle for a week when went for an urgent work to Hyderabad and they take care of you as well with the lovely food
