THE GRAND

Going by the name, the hotel is indeed Grand. Business wise they need to make it grand. It seemed the hotel loves to hold its old customers and visitors and the new people will feel out of place. We booked 3 rooms. One Suit and 2 executive rooms. Except for the size there is nothing special in the suit room. In such price range facilities increase in other places, like bathingtub in the washroom, hair dryer, iron table etc. Sorry, I was comparing the price with place. Secondly the mini-bar lists 10 items but in all the three rooms 7 items were present. It was intentional or forgetfulness, can't say. Now coming to hospitality, Requesting to you the 'owner,' now a days hospitality management course teach softskills and that should be checked first while recruiting. Not understanding the need of the customer is not a crime but trying to prove that it cannot be a part of your business is a crime. The world knew A to Z but AI is the key word now. So pull the socks to understand what people are getting in these ranges.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Grand Hotel Cum Restaurant, and it exceeded all my expectations. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern decor and cozy comfort. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything I tried was simply delicious.The non veg items was particularly exceptional, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Their deserts and drinks was the perfect way to end the meal. The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Their warm hospitality made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, The Grand is a fantastic place to dine, whether for a casual meal or a special occasion. Highly recommended!

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Disappointing Experience at The Grand Asansol Went there for dinner -- while the portion sizes were decent, the service was painfully slow. The place felt overpriced for what it offered, and honestly, the overall vibe just wasn't there. Expected more from a place with such a name.

Recently stayed at the hotel on 21st Nov24 during an official trip. Ordered South Indian style fish fry. The order came late firstly ,when enquired it had been informed that it takes time in this preparation. I was excitedly waiting for the order,but when received it was a total disaster. The upper crust of the fish was so hard, no taste and poorly prepared. I normally had South Indian style fish fry many times in other places. So request the restaurant to look into the matter or else please remove it from the menu.
