La Bella Hotel & Resort

We spent 3 nights at the resort. The new resort is located in a wide area on the Ayodha hilltop. Families and kids have huge open spaces to have a wonderful time. The resort's speciality is its service, friendly staff and attitude to go the extra mile whenever you have a request. Do not expect high-end luxury. It's a basic, family-friendly resort with all the communities there to make it a memorable holiday for you. Special mention for their tribal food. Don't miss to try Patpoda Chicken. I suggest you stay at Mud House because it can naturally control the temperature in summer or winter. I hope the management will improve the tent infrastructure soon. La Bela Resort is one of the best resorts in Ajodhya Hill Top. Truly it has magnificent properties along with Testy Food. The room is very cozy, nit and clean with excellent room service. Boys are working in these resorts are very humble in nature we stay here one night & two days with family. The location is very good, just in front of Ajodhya Ram Mandir and these resorts have beautiful gardens filled with flowers and very smooth lighting. In a single word I loved this Resort very much and strongly recommend it for those who want to stay in Ajodhya Hill Top. Thanks La Bela Resort for making our trip so memorable.

I stayed at this resort during my recent visit to Purulia between 25 - 28 Dec 2024. Me and my friend went there with our wives and kids for our Christmas vacation and stayed in the 4-bedded deluxe cottages #301 and 302. The property is big, well laid out, has a big entrance, nicely decorated at night and includes children play area, selfie point, barbque spots, etc. to provide a wholesome experience. 1. Location - Very good location at Ajodhya Hilltop and just opposite to the Ram Mandir which is one of the tourist spot. This is one of the few good accomodation available at Hilltop. The local market is nearby and all the daily essentials are easily available. 2. Rooms - The rooms are quite large with nice and asthetic decorations. Even after 2 double beds, bed side table, center table and a cabinet there is ample space to walk around. The attached toilet also complements the room and comes fitted with gyser and exhaust fan. The outside walls are hand painted with nice decoration. You also get to see nice little nooks (kulungi) on the walls along with a small terrace attached to each of the cottages. FYI-They offer double bed and deluxe tent accomodation as well. 3. Service - The service provided by the hotel staff was prompt and good and they are all well behaved. They always attended to us with smiling face for any service request like room cleaning, changing towels / bed sheets or serving snacks to room. Being 25-Dec the hotel management arranged for a Chhou performance which elevated the staying experience and gave it the Purulia touch. 4. Food - Quality and portion of food was between fair to good. We mostly tried regular dishes and they were good, though a bit spicy and slightly costly. While the fish was not that great but the other items were good and the butter naan calls for special mention. The kitchen staff were kind enough to prepare the desi chicken which we bought from the local market at a nominal charge of Rs.300. They also arranged a barbque for us at Rs.1000/kg and it tasted far better than what we get at Kolkata. The only drawback I could find is the dining hall which is currently an open enclosure with a shed at the top but they mentioned they intend to surround it with glass in near future for a restaurant like look and feel. 5. Management - The checkin process was smooth and we were alloted room pretty quickly. The checkout was also smooth - we cleared all the bills previous night because we had to leave very early at 6 AM the next day and there were no issues with the billing, advance payments, etc. Overall we all enjoyed our stay at La Bella Resorts, especIally the Chhou performance and the warmth shown by the hotel staff and would recommend others to stay here.

Within 5 days got room service , cleaning, change of towels , bed sheets etc only one day. No TV in the room. Everything is not set properly yet we feel. Food quality was good though the cooks are very ordinary, all chicken items tastes same. Hope for the best for the future

Premium location, lovely tribal concept spacious mudhouse cottages Food is really awesome.. Special voucher for service. Little improvement is required to decorate the dinning space which they mentioned in planning.

This is one of the best resort we have enjoyed at the fullest, service is top notch, cottages are as spacious as you expecting, patpora chicken is awesome...location is just an added advantage of this property... Looking forward to visit again during rainy season....

If you are looking to spend quality time in tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, then La Bella Resort in the Ajodhya Hill Top is definitely an option to explore. The main USP of this resort is its location and vast space. The resort is developed in the midst of a wide open farm land with the beautiful landscape of Ajodhya Hills on the horizon making it a spectacular place to be, especially during the sunrise and sunset times... If you love waking up in the lap of the nature to the chirping of birds and sound of the chores of the village life; if you love spending the lazy afternoons slow-walking on the gardens after a sumptuous lunch, or sitting idly on the jhulas and sun bathing in the cozy winter days and looking at the falling sun on the horizon to experience the beautiful quiet sunsets while the nature slowly goes to sleep by wrapping around the blanket of fog that slowly comes down, then this is a place to be. The mud house cottages are eco-friendly, spacious, clean and cozy with natural insulation. They also have ACs for the daytime if you feel like using it. The food is made to order and is awesome in taste. You will get the flavour of authentic rural cuisine with dishes like desi murgir jhol, haser mangso, pata pora chicken, etc. The staffs are very friendly and cooperative as well and are always at your service. The nearby tourist attractions are also not far. Places like Ram Mandir, Sita Kunda, Mayur Pahar Sunset point are just a walk away; while other places like Bamni Falls, Upoer Dam, Lower Dam, Turga Dam, Turga Lake, Marble Lake are within 5-10km drive. I was here to spend a few days in peace and loved the resort and their hospitality. Would recommend 100% and would love to comeback again for sure.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The hotel room was nice, clean and very beautiful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cooking was also brilliant. It was really amazing experience stay in this hotel, i would love to comeback here again.
