Hotel Ayodhya Banalata

Me, my parents and my friend's family recently toured Purulia at the end of February (25th to 27th) and stayed at Hotel Ajodhya Banalata. I can't thank the Hotel Management and Staff enough for their top notch service. The manager Mr. Abhishek Ghosh also arranged for our conducted tour in Ajodhya Hills and Garpanchakot circuits. The driver was very efficient, polite and tried to show us every tourist attraction within the short timespan. The hotel rooms were pretty decent, food was also good. The hotel staff were very helpful and the management also showed utmost hospitality. But the main attraction was the environment. The hotel was in the midst of the Shal Pial Forest atop Ajodhya Hills. So, it was a completely different experience to stay within a forested land in small roofed cottages. The ambience was exceptional and the tariffs were accordingly reasonable. Overall, a great experience for us. Would recommend anyone to stay here if ever been to Purulia.

**Hotel Review - Terrible Experience!** I recently stayed at Ajodhya Banalata, and my experience was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I checked in, I encountered **poor service** and **unprofessional behavior** from both the manager and the staff. Despite confirming all the promised amenities before arrival, I found that **nothing was up to the mark**. My requests were either ignored or handled carelessly. **The management was completely inefficient**, and the staff showed little to no concern for guest satisfaction. The **bathroom was in a pathetic condition**--the **hand flush was broken, the geyser wasn't working, and there was a constant foul smell**. The **bed sheets were dirty**, clearly not changed from previous guests, making it highly unhygienic. No toiletries provided.When asked, provided two sachet of hair oil. Even after raising multiple complaints, **no real action was taken**. The lack of basic hospitality standards made my stay extremely uncomfortable. This hotel needs **serious improvements** in management, cleanliness, and overall service. It's not what I expected in 1800 rs per room per night. I would strongly **advise against booking this place** unless they make significant changes. **Not recommended!**

Good spot to stay on Ayodhya Hills top. Behaviour of owner and staffs are so polite, rooms and facilities are good. Best place to stay within nature. Rates are legitimate.

The food was amazing and the ambience was great..there was chaw dance which I liked very much.In living--the rooms were average.

We enjoyed our days there. Staffs are very polite. I thank Mr. Ghosh and Abhisek for their support and great hospilality. Ambience is really charming with proper maintainance. I wish them a happy new year 2025.

The place is good....but the manager Mr. Abhishek Ghosh is very bad person as his behaviour is very rude... He doesn't listen anything after check in... He is an unprofessional guy..... Even he misbehaved with customers with his extreme bad manners...... I personally don't recommend anyone to go to this place..... obviously if you don't want to waste your money... thank you.
