We had an amazing time celebrating Holi with our family at Kalyan Forest Resort in March 2025! The resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were warm and welcoming, ensuring that our family had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The accommodations were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, perfect for our family's needs. The food was delicious and varied, with plenty of options for both kids and adults. The resort's activities and games kept everyone engaged and entertained throughout our stay. We stayed at KFR for two nights. The rooms were clean, airy and well furnished. The staffs were well behaved and quick responsive.The foods and drinks provided were fresh and warm.However, the toilets could have been tidier. It also has play equipments for children and an open space surrounded by trees. The resort itself is located at an uncrowded place and you can take a walk in the nearby woods surrounding it. We stayed in the room 'Kalyan - 1' for a night and from the balcony it had a great view of the sunset. So, if you are looking for a good stay in the midst of nature where you can avoid crowd, then it is totally recommend!

I visited Kalyan Forest Resort one week ago, and it was a peaceful and refreshing experience. The resort is nicely decorated and offers a calm, serene atmosphere, making it perfect for those who love tranquility. It is situated deep inside the forest--though not very dense, it feels a bit secluded, which adds to its charm for nature lovers. The food was great, and the staff was very prompt and responsive, ensuring a smooth stay. However, the amenities were quite basic and need improvement. The mattress was hard, making sleep slightly uncomfortable, and the toilets could be tidier. For those seeking peace and solitude, this resort is a great choice. However, if you enjoy lively crowds and activities, it might feel a bit quiet. Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement!

Nice place to stay at Baranti. Beautiful gardens, well decorated, nice views. Behavior of the staff is very good and very cooperative. Foods are good in taste and palatable. Located near Garh Panchakot and Jaychandi Hills, this is a nice place to stay for passing leisure time.

We visited Purulia in December 2024. Kalyan forest resort is one of the finest property for staying around Ayodha Pahar Range. The room was spacious and clean. Staffs were really nice. Foods were delicious, Pata Chicken is highly recommendable. A good place to spend time with family or friends.

Stayed in 1st floor deluxe room. Walls made of tin covered with bamboo mat. No privacy. All conversation in attached room was audible in the room. No cups and glasses given in the room but an electric kettle was given. Food was average in taste. Service is above average though. Would not recommend others to come here since I wasn't happy with the overall package.

Location of Kalyan Forest Resort is very good... rooms are big but lack of basic amenities...wardrobe is missing in rooms In Charidaa category rooms. Staffs behaviours is moderate... Food quality is good but little bit over priced... one 750 ml cold drinks price is 70 /- rupees. Overall it is nice hotel to stay ..

Fantastic location and ambience, Excellent place to stay and relax for 2-3 days in the lap of nature on the Ayodhya Hill, Purulia. Room service and food quality is very good. I can say it's a romantic and pristine place for newly wed couple. The ground in the middle surrounded by the huts made the ambience more brilliant. The full property is well maintained, children play area is happily utilised by the kids.
